Blue Eyed Devil

The devil has blue eyes, with a smile to melt a heart.
look alittle deeper my friend, she'll rip you apart.
She knows exactly what she's doing, she laughs and makes you cry.
She'll never be your friend, no matter how you try.
She uses people, and tosses them away.
She uses her babes as tools, every single day.
"Why do you do it, Mrs Sweetness and light?"
Don't you realize "Karma" comes with a bite?
I don't envy you, not one little mity.
I don't hate you, you just have my pity.
For one day the babes will see, just what you do.
They'll run away in heart, far away from you.
You'll always have their love, no matter who you use.
But soon you'll not fool them, with your little ruse.
So cry your gater tears, to everyones appeal.
Eyes are windows to the soul, I see you for real.

To Know Me

To know me, know that my name is mine.
accept me as I am, please be kind.
Don't try to change, my way of thinking.
who I love, or anything linking.
Don't rant and rave, or yell at me.
I used to sit on papaw's knee.
I used to go with daddy to fish.
Seeing Grandma and Papaws my only wish.
But don't change my name, or love me less.
I don't need the added stress.
I'am somebody, I'm Christopher.
I want things back, the way they were.

Fog of Confusion

I feel something missing, I asked God to lead.
At night I toss and turn, and the sweat begins to bead.
Another wild nightmare, another wild dream.
As I start to come awake,I see his guiding beam.
I am lead to you,you for me to find.
I'm just an old Grandma, with you on my mind.
Savannah was your name, or so I'd been told.
But I found out, that lie was getting old.
I saw your pic, when you were around 4.
Please get to know me,perhaps alittle more.
I have loved you, from the very start.
In your life, to be alittle part.
You were in my thoughts, never ever forgotten.
I wanted to protect you, when your life turned rotten.
Give me a chance now, to be Grandma to you.
I want to be in your life, and you in mine too.

Our Grandbabies

Birthdays come, then they go.
We miss sharing, as you grow.
We remember all the good.
Keep the memories, as you should.
Hugging, kissing, all the love.
Your all a gift from God above.
The pain we feel from missing you,
We share with others, theyre hurt too.
We'll see eachother, soon enough.
build a snowman, sled on fluff.
Visit the park, shop the mall.
Til then, remember,we love you all.

Remember Me ?

I kissed your cheek, did you forget ?
I've been looking, haven't seen you yet.
Was holding your hand when you felt alone.
I heard your crys, heard you moan.
I stepped up and helped you out.
Remember me, I wanted to shout.
Once you stepped on firmer ground,
You were no where to be found.
Why do you always remember my name,
When things change, not the same ?
I will always cherish and love you.
I wish you felt the same way too.

                                                 Love...Jesus

My Angels

Every night I go to sleep, I wish my angels near.
I whisper ever so quiet so only they may hear.
"guard my babies through the night, and tuck their covers up so right"
Tell them Grandma loves them, and shes here.
Grandpa too, hes always near.
Tell Casey to watch and play real nice.
tell Samantha when crossing, always look twice.
Tell Christopher to stay so sweet, and
tell hannah we'll soon meet.
Tell them angels that we love them so,
I'll sleep better if they know.
During the day I worry and fret,
I havent seen them even yet.
Their fathers gone and doesn't care.
I want them to know,I'll always be there.
