Time Flies Fast

Where is the little girl,
Who giggled and smiled?
Playing with toys,
While driving me wild.

Where is the child,
Who laughed every day?
And made me feel loved,
In every way.

Where is the baby,
Who looked up to me?
I was her friend,
Wondering what she would be.

This child is now a woman,
Beautiful, and truly smart
Growing up before my eyes,
My sister with a loving heart.

Going Under

Thoughts in my mind,
Racing on a track.
I open my eyes,
To a world that's pitch black.

Darkness surrounds me,
Fear takes the wheel.
There's no seat belt for me,
I pray it's not real.

Pictures of despair,
Enter my vision.
Hell is on my earth,
Rising with a mission.

I scream loud and long,
Until my voice leaves me.
Silent sobs continue,
Is this how my end will be?

A push sends me down,
Flames flicker and burn.
I fall into the pit of sin,
Past the point of no return.

Over Thinking

Tossing and turning,
Afraid to close my eyes.
Images speeding in my mind,
Who knows where my future lies?

Life hasn't been easy for me,
The roads twisting and turning.
My world ripping apart,
The fire inside me burning.

I don't think I can fight it,
I'm not sure I want to.
Should I let it consume me,
Leading me to my doom?

My eyes start to get heavy,
Sleep taking me away.
I need to dream of a good life,
And wake up with a brighter day.

Nightmares From Within

Running through the night,
Fear flowing through me.
The moonlight shines from above,
But I can barely see.

Branches whipping at my body,
As if they were alive.
The wind howls at me,
I don't know how to survive.

Creatures move all over,
Fur, scales, and wings.
So many noises all around,
The darkness has scary things.

It wants to consume me,
Take me on a dangerous track.
My screams turn to silence,
As my world fades to black.

Dark Shadows

Into the woods i go,
Running for my life.
These emotions I'm feeling,
Cut deep like a knife.

There's no one in sight,
At least what I think.
Slipping and falling,
My world starts to sink.

Nowhere to go,
And no place to hide
Nobody to save me,
Was anyone on my side?

Time is fading slowly,
My life becomes no more.
It's too late to go back,
To how it was before.

Stranger On the Outside

As I look into the mirror,
My mind is lost in thought.
It's hard to find myself,
The old me that life forgot.

I don't recognize her,
She has become unknown.
Time is not on her side,
She faces this world alone.

Eyes that hide secrets,
Memories she wants to erase.
Her life is no fairy tale,
Knowing there is no such place.

Her smile becomes forced,
The light she carried is out.
Now she's left in the dark,
She has no energy to shout.

I'm living in the darkness,
No longer seeing the light.
It's time to give up,
It's too late to fight.
