Kirune Yuukei Poem
Walking down a one way road
A branch appears splitting the way
Left and Right you must choose
One to tread the other forget
Walking down my chosen path
My thoughts drift to the other side
What was on that other road?
A road that I can no longer go.
Was it better than mine?
Safer? Nicer?
If only the world could send me a sign,
To let me know if I was right.
But alas, this is not my fate.
Even if my choice is one I will always hate,
The other road is not for me
Treaded on by the other me.
Walking down a one way road
A road I tread with questionablity
Always wondering,
What was on that other road.

Kirune Yuukei Poem
How many times must I fall
Till you finally hear my pleas
Must I fall for all eternity
For you to believe me
Your smile is like the sun
Your eyes are like the moon
But to you I’m just a shadow
That you cast on a warm afternoon
We’ve known each other for years
Always side by side
But every compliment I tell you
Just seems to fly by
And as the years pass
And another comes along
I fall away forgotten
Like the shadows on a wall
And when fall comes and goes
And your frown begins to grow
I walk alongside you
Just a friend among the snow
How many years has passed
Since I first had known
Too many years to count
Even I don’t know
How many times must I fall
For you to see me as me
And even though I know the answer
It isn’t one I can accept easily
Because the answer I’ve been looking for
Is that you’ll always only see me as a friend
