My carotene heart is bursting with orangeness
The zestiness inside me has created my zany urges
I am ready to be harvested; can you not see my verdant roof?
It is sticking out of the ground with my well rounded head.
I am crazy in love with the soil, but will be eager to be plucked
For I know someone will exclaim with delight at my crooked prettiness.
If there was a Miss Carrot contest, I would surely win it.
Self-confidence is oozing out of me into the soil as I speak.
The sun is up; the two-legs will be arriving shortly.
I stand up as high as I dare, feeling the warm sun
Admiring my healthy attitude and my healthier ways.
I can help you with your eyesight people.
Do you see me? Do you?
A Bearded Cat
Dancing Energetically Found
Generous Helpers imagining
Jealous kittens languishing meaningfully.
Never ostentatious private queries
rendered sassy tales united vivaciously
with ‘xact youthful zestiness.
Zany yeti ‘xtraordinary wisdom visualized
under true scholastic reality quickly
paid ordinary niceties many libations.
Killing joyful imagery hereby granting
federal enthusiasm during catastrophic
bemused antecedent.
The restaurant was Vietnamese
And so, for its clients to please,
On each table there sat
Bottles filled with sauce that
Would make someone like me start to sneeze.
For some cultures like heat in their food
Thus for zestiness, they might include
Certain chilies or spice,
Sometimes sprinkled on twice,
So a torridness they will exude.
Though some patrons such heat will exalt
And use hot sauce, perhaps, by default,
I like flavor, not heat
Yet my meal’s not complete
‘Til it has a few shakes of the salt.
when i see you there,
i am reminded of why
a surprise is so needed
in my world
when i feel you share,
i am delighted to be an
emboldened treasure in
your precious memory
the warmth of your soul
assures me that mattering
is so much healthier that
self-shattering
i am so Bountifully Blessed
that it makes my tear ducts
benevolently swell to an immaculate
illumination
because of you i live for the
extraordinary liveness of living
inspiration has now the most
amazing and gratifying existance,
and it is passionately powered by
the zestiness of you
you are my waterfall in the center
of each and every beat of my heart,
and the loyalty of your love's sincerity
is one that i will Forever Cherish....
