In Your Walk-Through Faith: Who Is Driving You?

Life is the reflection of the road; we will get to follow—
And that will always be more than what meets the eye
Or Seeing Eye to eye, with the eye of the very storm—
It ‘ll make the natural things, to no longer be the norm

And who am I, or you, to ask the same, old, question—
Others—may have already asked, a million times before?
While furthermore; why did that chicken cross that road? —
As if simplifying the depths, beyond, what we truly owed

It’s a lot like pondering at a mirror, but through the other guide—
How the same illusions, always reveals, exactly the same pride?
And so, if I could change one thing—it would only come to this—
I would love to hope, to go back to where home, is where my heart is

As only the heart knows, the road, where “The Way” leads to the other side—
Just as every sheep will hear the same voice—we too can drown out the same noise
As our future destiny is made, not by what we’ve done in the past, but in the present
For by definition, “the present” is a gift, and quite frankly, we will all need a lift

Premium MemberSleep and Slumber

I slumber, wee hours mostly
I sleep, wee hours always
No other places to visit
When undressed, past
Present, future
Dreams are Real,
Dreams are fantasies
Dreams are of other places
Glue binds
The brain stores
Desires, at times
What you have, all
Is what you get, some
Temporarily hidden resurfaced
Youthful sugarplums, few
Adult accumulations, many
Will flowers and sweetness
Be my dreams as I age
Hopefully
Accumulations surface
Memories
Pleasant
and not so

Spell It Out of Faith

How would you think, God would spell the word “BEAUTIFUL”?
The way I see, He would have to first get rid of
The “B” and the “E” and then the “A”
From there, He would spell beautiful starting with you

How would you think, God would spell the word “LOVE”?
He would start with how He would see it
using one eye and with the other eye, look for you at the end
God is love, so as Love, He would spell it “I love you”

How would you think, God would spell the word “GRACE”?
That’s easy, first he would take all our sins, into Himself
He would willingly suffer on our behalf, to even die for us
He would rise on the 3rd day and spell it as the Gospel

How would you think, God would spell the word “FAITH”?
Hmmm! He won’t, would you like to know why?
Because He already spelled it out, over and over and over, and again
Now, it is up to you to find it, to have it, to know it and to do the same

Happy Mother's Day

Home truly is where the heart is
Because there! I know; you will always be
Just as how the sun-sets every morning
I can feel your sunshine’s hugging me

I was, actually-at a cruise-ship; just a few days ago
And I got to watch the moon; gets to hug the sea
And the very first thought that came to me, came with a sigh!
Aww! realizing...“You can never be that far from me”

So today, I’m going to pick you, some flowers
From the garden from which, you, yourself have sown
And I’ll place them, where our hearts-together is; with a note
Which says “To the very best woman I have ever known”

Happy Mother’s Day, Mom!
We thank you for everything you’ve done
Know; that we all love you and we always will
Sending…On behalf of everyone

Premium MemberToo Many Pets

I’m facing a challenge and I’m taking bets
That I can remember the names of my pets

There’s Tommy and Jonnie and Sally and Barry
The one over there I believe might be Harry
Tiddles and Wriggles and Bruno and Gerry
Never stray far from their bestest mate Terry

But Sue, Lou and Nancy, Alberto And Drew
Appear to be loners, a bit like Baloo
That crowd to one side hang around in a gang
But seem to be led by Mei Ling and Chang

Now, can I recall who the rest of them are
I’ll try but they all look the same from afar
Lee, James, Amanda, Frank, Annie and Les
Annabelle, Gilbert, Wilbert and Dez
Sonya, Sam, Lesley-Anne, Mary-Lou, Bess
Stephanie, Bethany, Cuthbert and Jess
Edward and Jedward, Samson and Ben
Zebedee, Gerry-Lee, Timothy, Jen
Josh, Tod and Spartacus, Abbie and Sid
Oliver, Gulliver, Billy the Kid
There’s Tyson and Dyson, and Eric and Jim
And Betty and Hetty, Jemima and Kim

I got them from someone who lives down the road
And carried them all to my humble abode
I needed no crate cos the breeder had bowls
He told me that’s how one should carry tadpoles

What Faith Is

Faith is in the knowing; that God is good and true
Faith is in the loving; the life, He gave up for you
Faith is in the believing; that you’ll never be alone
Faith is in the following; the secret places-His light has shown

Faith is in the seeing; that in Him, nothing is impossible
Faith is in the sowing; the fruitiest substance of His parables
Faith is in the renewing; the spiritual nature of your understanding
Faith is in the doing; what God’s word has intended into creating

Faith is in the surrendering; where repentance, signifies the ways
Faith is in the hearing; where the spirit, takes your breath away
Faith is in the preaching; where the scripture holds the only light
Faith is in the seeking; all the unfathomable, through depths and heights

Faith is in the blessing; where the old self dies to be reborn to a new creation
Faith is in the receiving; as the gift of grace as your ultimate foundation
Faith is in the forgiving; a changing of heart, that may seem rather auspicious
Faith is in the resting; and into putting all your trust, "in the name of Jesus"

I Love My Mom

Ever since I first opened my eyes
My heart enabled me to see
How everything my mom has done and did,
she did them all for me
I was at the very center of her universe
and she was the "Sun" to me
And I revolved around her every word
holding the very hands that nurtured me
I know, she loved me like no other mom, can
for the simplest of reason, I am her son
As for me, I also love her like no other will;
as vast as the ocean, forever-loving the sun
She is in Heaven now, my mom is
but she is also at home inside my soul
We have a bond that will never fade, you see
We have a doorway and God is the key

Truth

Do you really know me?
I don't think you do, not really
Because if you ever did
You will not disrespect my name in vain

Every time I speak, can you hear my voice?
Somehow, I don't think you have, not really
Because if you ever had
You would have loved to call me your friend
And not treat me like how you treat your enemy

All I ever wanted was to share with you my light
But somehow you would rather listen to the shadows of your thoughts

I wanted to show you how much I love you
But all you cared about was how to measure it with your understanding

Now let me tell you my truth!
I did not caused you, your pain but I took every bit of it, as mine
I did not caused you, your sickness but I would gladly bare it all to myself
Death was never part of the plan and it is why I had to die for you

I love you as a Father would
I love you as a Son will always aspire to be
And I will forever be with you and in you... In Spirit
Through Grace for Grace is truth and your faith in this; shall set you free

The I of the Old

My life is no longer about the world and its subsequent-imaginary art
But about me, as a vessel and how God has comforted my heart
I’m no longer drowning from the profoundest void of my desperation
I came out with a new spirit; born to this… A brand new creation
I’m no longer the man I used to be; but re-drawn onto a different mold
The “I” of the old became just a memory; of my alter-ego’s… Gold
If you can only see me now, you’ll see the hunger bursting; all over my face
Like a great fire burning at the very core, of my soul; nothing else can replace
Just as if, watching the eye of a needle, inside a riddle; watching a giant storm
And then suddenly, here comes the thunder, shrieking with his lightning arm
As far as how spiritually, my soul and I can be, our journey has just begun
But at least we already know the way and truth; that’s in God’s only son
I am telling you the truth, I am as alive as I will ever be; no longer a dreamer
For my heart and mind is now at faith with Jesus; my one and only, redeemer

The Measurement of Faith

One plus one will always equal into two
As your faith in grace-that was what saved you
It’s like measuring the distance from A to B to C
The strife’s of Jesus Christ has lit the light in me
The key through His word is like planting a seed
That once it takes root, will supply all our needs
Just imagine riding a bicycle-we’ll never forget
What Jesus went through into paying our debts
All that is required is to just believe in His name
Once the truth begins-you’ll never be the same
Like raindrops falling in the desert, God is good
Quenching our thirst to bless the neighborhood
A kid with a ruler can draw a perfect-straight line
We too needs one to see; our lives are intertwine
We are fishes in the same net, dying from thirst
Fighting for absolution; as to who can get it first
But it’s not from work, God measures our deeds
A faith as puny as a mustard-seed; is all we need

The Journey of a Once a Feeble Mind

If nature is as inevitable as change defines the weather
By same nature’s-fortune decree, my sins cannot define me
I am my Father’s fine-art, perfectly coated to the brim of His brush
As His life-force flow through me, as blood flows throughout my veins
I am as free as how a butterfly conquers the world of its own construction
No man can deceive his own heart for so long that it breaks itself-to-pieces
I’m my Father’s ship; I’m able to roam the sea, to discover the undiscoverable
And to walk the sandstorms of my desert-self, within the lightest-ness of spirit
I’m my Father’s son; I’m ready to hear His voice and to submit to His commands
I’m freedom itself riding the waves unto the end of all of the uncharted-probability
Where knowledge wears the mask of doubters, as to wisdom wears only of the truth
I choose grace for grace sake where truth comes only by the faith of a humbled-heart
So, this is my vessel; my mind is open for the words of God, craving for understanding

Smile Like the Moon

Smile like the moon
God created all things, for a reason
He created the hours, the days to seasons
Then he created sun to take our breathes away

God loves you!

Now, I only have but one more thing to say
Live like the moon as she radiates whenever she sees the sun
Because by nature the moon does not have a light of her own
Whereas in her darkest of hour-she does not want to be alone
In full majesty she lights up like wild-flowers in the meadows
That even the stars cannot help but to glint in the afterglow
While she’s only halfway lit-she doesn’t frown-she smiles
Because she knows-the love she has stretches to a mile
So she talks and she dreams with hearts… in need
She offer whatever light she has left… to heed
Her journey began to only end in a circle
To her it’s more like a miracle
Now I imagine how the moon is dipped into the sea, just as I was baptized, to have Jesus in me
Imagine life with all of its many possibilities and then let us imagine living in that, for all eternity

An Epiphany To Remember

Standing at the very threshold of my dream, I had an epiphany
That somewhere inside, I sworn that I been there before
Trapped in broken records; in the broken truth of the past
Basking over the glitters into the seams of my closed-fisted-mask
I was swimming with a thousand other fishes, drowning under the moon
I had an epiphany of a prison hiding inside an airless balloon

An Atheist Nail of Faith

Faith is the eyes you already have that you just never thought to open
Faith is a state of mind where the fruits are joy, peace, patients and love and
Hmm! I mean I can go on and on and on but I’m afraid you’ll never going to get it
For how could you, with a hardened heart-first-you got to learn to reset it?
You got to give your heart a chance with enough time to soak it all in
It’s like planting a seed, it’s a process; you got to dig deeper within
Because inside where your soul is, there is this other you
A version born in spirit; deepening your trails anew
Faith is a substance; you’ll never ever see or touch
But you’ll know when get it, move you as such
Changing impossibility into a likely probability
Moving mountains to even opening the sea
Faith makes deaf ear hear, blind eyes see
Crippled men walk to set your spirit free
The choice is yours; it’s about believing
Removing the nail of your undertaking
It’s through God’s grace-you are saved
Through Jesus and the road he paved
Imagine a nail that’s broken into two
One half is with God, where are you?
