Premium Member Nudge From Afar

Rust flaked signposts,
  from dew-stain,
     era enigmatic,
       omen, symbol,
           scratched by,
       yellow fog weather,
             floating visual,
          or pigment’s,
    crumpled inmost span,
     waned crossing,
   I peer  with,
    hazed whimsy,
 on my prime flush,
   streetscape  ambit,
what is destination,
  but infinity of kismet,
elliptic nudge from afar,
  “BLINDLY” lolling in,
     circular pursuit,
then founding paradigm,
  raise the “BLINDS,”
wisps of unearthly whisper,
almost orange-red robin,
   yet impactful brain stroke,
      luminous and lucid,
      a close kin carols,
     your inlying map,
      is weatherproof,
    absorb urban soundings,
     with gut sense hunch

Now fly,
show off gossamer wings;
Blessed with hunger am I,
brave with weatherproof strings;
I aim for a bullseye;

Now write,
letters are alchemy;
Each reader can take flight,
learn you intimately;
My set glitches delight;

Ink flows
from deep inside the gut;
Inhibition will close;
Setting free classy smut,
I mix in clean cut prose;

Words scream;
Cognizant of my soul
they hijack a daydream;
With pen, paint, or charcoal
take it to the extreme;

Lines dance,
walls crumble to freestyle
celebrating a stance;
My stanzas run a mile,
I always take a chance;

You soar
so high when you give in;
I’ve crashed and hit the floor
and stood up forgiven;
I’ll write forevermore.

Premium Member Sounds of Icy Fingers

Sounds of icy fingers tapping my roof
Like rhythmic drumming on a snare
Mother Nature enjoys a gentle spoof
Sounds of icy fingers tapping my roof
Thank God, the ceiling is weatherproof
Against such as this persistent fanfare
Sounds of icy fingers tapping my roof
Like rhythmic drumming on a snare.

Premium Member Because

Because
In this world of contradictions and fear
You care
One of a kind invisible, yet true
Weatherproof, divine
I get it, faith is gift
My muse itself stands in need of You
What is this love that makes me seek You?

Because
Even as I snooze
You open my heart to Your words
Have me to make right the wrongs I've done
Steer my thoughts, I pray
I'll have it no other way
You're in charge, I'm not, and
Because I am of You
I'll lay wait your appearing
Let my rejoicing hold features of You.

Because
In this personal space I'll carve
Wherever I dare
Silence beckons with index to its lips
I get it, stillness speaks
I am entranced to advance my views
I'll abandon what's not of You
You're epiphany of love that renews.

Premium Member Self Actualization

Spontaneous is my grasp on a world endless-
Every new ability learned and created teaches me,
lessons in life and I see my beautiful,
flowing life with potential-  weatherproof.

And each new poem I write is, a
curve, turn and step gigantic,
undaunted I just write and write impromptu-
At times my poems are written from a different era.
Like-minded people love my poems abysmal,
imaginative and sorrowful, and even at times Sci-fi.
Zealous, I write all night with my head abuzz,
and my pen dripping magenta-
Tattered are my memories bittersweet,
internal my soul finds words illuminati.
Obsessed often with deaths of long ago,
never-ending I write- a girl growing but still a bit broken.
