Waste Not Want Not

She sneaks upon you
When you least expect
Beware, little one
No tolerance of disrespect

She will stand near
Seeing if you will give ear
...but never linger
The moment you perceive
Reject or receive
...unable to linger

Once, maybe twice
TRUTH will come to each
But for those pure in heart
The connection will reach
..................................WISDOM............................

Centered and focused
LOVE has a home
No time for lies
Of being alone

Individuals will come and go
TRUTH clothed, will always KNOW
...where you are
Naked, blind, halt, or lame
She identifies her children by a single name
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>LOVE<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

He has no time to waste
ETERNAL has no haste
Time will stand still
As REVELATION reveals
......the waste of lack
...........that can never give back

Horace was a hoarder he kept everything
Rusty machinery, old books, paper and string
It wasn't just his waste he could not throw away
Horace collected other junk every single day

Completely unable to put anything in a bin
To Horace this was wasteful he thought this a sin
Soon his house was bulging with garbage galore
Every room, hall and stairs stacked from ceiling to floor

One would think by this time Horace would realise
He had an addiction and should try to downsize
The rubbish started rotting took on a putrid smell
Horace seemed not to notice and thought all was well

Perhaps one day soon not too far away
Doctors will find a cure that will help to allay
This awful disease so hard to understand
It's not a way of life most of of us would have planned

Did Horace choose to exist with this way of life
He seems quite content it doesn't cause him strife
Why should it bother us, we are not all the same
It's called the luck of the draw life is like a game

We all see things differently on this we must agree
What we call an affliction others call eccentricity

Waste Not, Want Not

I wanna be the song you sing
whenever you wake.
I wanna be the reality
within the smile you fake.
I wanna be the reason
for every breath that you take.
I wanna be the crime
behind the rules that you break.
I wanna be your rock
when your heart aches.

It seems I'm too selfish
for wanting this cake.
I'm sorry for loving you
my worst mistake.

Waste Not Want Not

Waste Not Want Not

My parents and grandparents taught me
Waste not and want not they said
But liposucked fat into bar soap
I can’t get that thought through my head
The fat that is sucked from some rich ladies
Like all fat can be rendered to soap
Perfumed and then sold back to rich ladies
At least so the makers all hope
The waste from the waist was just wasted
Until someone thought “let’s waste not”
Someone somewhere will sure buy it
If we advertize it as hot
It’s available now in Miami
At 1000 dollars a bar
They hint but they don’t really tell you
It came from some Hollywood star
“Waste not and want not’s” good guidance
But sometimes – well waste is just waste
But don’t let my writing dissuade you
If liposucked fat soap’s your taste
So lather up when you feel dirty
But keep in mind where it came from
Some lady’s thigh or midsection
Or even perhaps her big bum

Uncle Mike

Waste Not-Want Not

Another trash bin filled with food
Reminding me of Society's strange paradox
Of how we gluttonously consume
And yet waste so much.
Ripping morcles from famished mouthes
Only to discover they are past sell-by date
And consign them to their grave.
Fruit that's misshapen, has a bruise or is oddly colored.
More food in the dumpster,
Than in over 900 million rumbling bellies.
How is it possible,
That we can be so round,
When others scrounge for crumbs?
Count your blessings
And give to those less fortunate.
