Paddy went tae the Curragh racecourse
Bet his all on the favourite horse
Noo he’s back in Kilkenny
Withoot even a penny
Tae cry in his Guinness wae remorse

Lure of the Tush
In a far and fair, fabulous land
There's a place it's called Bonnie Scotland
A lad was born in September that year
Strong and spirited wae nae fear
He grew up handsome and full of flash
His wallet aye full wae ready cash
Work piled in tae his delight
Made him bigger and brighter like a star studded night.
She was blonde and shiney - A breath o fresh air
Her looks, her demeanor and standing right there
Curvacous of breast, slim at the hip
Rose petals and Champagne at the lip
His head it was turned, And No going back
His thoughts were about getting her in the sack.
She winks, She flirts 'He looks not bad.'
She taunts and dances to the merry lad
A sidewards glance confirms her suspicion
He's weakened, he's desperate and now on a mission
She flicks her hair ignoring his glances
He's standing and wondering what's his chances
What will it take to woo and attract
Just at that she turns her back
What to do with a woman from Venus
He casts a glance at his standing
Give her the moon, A shove or a push
Now that's what they call the Lure of the Tush.

As a listen tae the rich syllables dripping fae her mooth ma heart
beats a little faster.
A wish a could jist embrace
the impending disaster.
As a watch the curl of her
lip in pontificating splendour
ma blood runs that little bit
quicker..A wish a could jist
imbibe some mare liquor
A feel her bite intae ma bone
an unsuspecting marrow her
saliva is copiously flowin.
If a could jist get tae grips wae
this sense a foreboding
She engenders hatred an
malignancy in ma heed.
An invocation tae war
not peace. As she endeavours tae
render me as inconsequentially benign.

The Boomerang Effect...
I thought it was all talk & none sense!
Until, I reap what I sowed.
An its a given u must pay what u owe!
Might not be today, tomorrow, or even a year from now.
But the seeds that we plant always manifest out the ground!
Like this one Kat...a dam fool that live by the gack!
A brother with no respect 4 his fellow man & known 4 stabbing ppl in the back!
Like a reck that's fatal...he didn't even see it coming.
He hit a lick 4 a brick...a week later the ppl that he robbed caught him & shot him in the back while he wae running!
Do un 2 others as thou want done 2 thee.
An what's good 4 the next... doesn't mean its good 4 me!
What goes up... must come down!
An what u do 2 ppl...eventually... will come back around!...The Boomerang Effect!

Sailin doon the watter,
Frae Glesga tae Dunoon,
Wae the paddles at thur fullest,
We'd get ther awfy soon,
The music played as we stood on deck,
An the sights so much tae see,
Doon past Dumbarton Castle,
A magic sight tae me,
Sailing past Helensburgh,
An roon the bend,
We could see the Holy Loch,
On this Glesga fair weekend,
The sun wis shinin brightly,
As we entered quaint Dunoon,
Wae its tea rooms and its cafes,
We wid go an eat ther soon,
Fish n chips fur dinner,
An a big ice cream tae end,
A walk aboot the shops,
An a postcerd we wid send,
An later on aboot eight o'clock,
We steamed away once more,
Up the Clyde tae Glesga,
Alang the rivers shore,
Wae a couple a drams an the music,
The trip hid been jist braw,
A sail doon the Clyde on the Waverley,
Ye jist cannae beat it at awe.

Another disappointing day
One more pang unfolds ,
Like the winter’s whirling breath -
Cold !
Old and battered , beat and bruised
Why this living wae ?
Once the roses bloomed so red -
Now dead !
Today .
