Dear Sweet Cat

Dear little pussy cat sleeping all so snug
perhaps she maybe dreaming of a birdie or a bug,
Though as soon as I be resting you betcha she'll be woke
running like a sprinter, and this is not a joke!

Sweet pretty putty cat snoozing moonlight gleam
Now snoring very loudly and Oh it's quite extreme,
What if she's not feeling well? Maybe it's a cold
Suddenly she's piping down and phew she's good as gold.

Dear little pussy cat calms me with her poise
bringing me much joy within, when there is no noise,
Sometimes she does silly things coaxing me to giggle
sweet pretty putty cat Haha she done a wiggle !!

Christmas Is For Singing

A sad time for children in foreign parts
for they have no super stores to be lost and found in.

Sad for inflatable Santa's gunned down by B.B pellets.
For all the cute pets and reindeer that do not make
the fuzzy ‘feel good bit’ at the end of the 6 O’clock news.

I’m working on my happiness, not forcing anything,
being considerate
to people and their wrong opinions -
it’s what the baby Jesus would want.

While shopping,
I avoid those soul destroying yuletide jingles
by singing opera arias badly and very loudly.

Premium MemberWoody

I saw a Woodpecker up a tree.
He looked very cross-eyed to me.
This woodpecker could not peck,
The poor bird was a wreck.

His pecker had dropped off,
When he very loudly coughed.
I saw him banging his head repeatedly,
Because it was time for his tea.

Woody soon felt very weak.
You can't be a woodpecker without a beak.
I realized why he looked cross-eyed to me,
He kept banging his head upon the tree.

Lockdown 2020

First off, i would like to get out, that I'm far from a poet, yet i have so very much to say,
There it is again, a heavy load circulating around my mind, my heart is yelling out so very loudly, yet proudly, i must express my emotions out this way,
How do i put down in words, how unstable lockdown 2020 has affected me, i can not understand this bizarre behaviour myself,
I crave for you to reach deeply inside my mind, so that you could see,
A dull feeling inside, a soul destroyer, no where to hide,
The most lonely place,
No one who truly understands, as you can see within their tearful face,
If only i could inspire the devil, to uncast his wicked spell,
And to instead embrace humanity, with love, peace and for all to be well,
Like how do you tell you sweet innocent babies, that time has changed for the worse,
That the devil is sadly upon us showering us all with his curse,
How do we live life now,
Living in tremendous fear,
The unfortunate outbreak of this virus,
That has gotten far to near,
Well life goes on, but what do we do,
Prey and hope so very hard,
Big love to all of you.

Premium MemberA Poem For the Ladies

We’ve done our weekly shopping
and I need to use the loo
arriving at the ladies
There is a massive queue

I stand in line cross legged
there are six in front of me
I wish people would hurry up
Cos I’m bursting for a pee

A mum arrives with her toddler
who is doing the wet knicker dance
she cries out very loudly
'I’ve gone and peed my pants'

We usher them in front of us
It’s the kindest thing to do
at least it’s only urine
and not a smelly pooh

Finally it’s my turn
and I sidle into the stall
then I notice the loo roll dispenser
which is fixed onto the wall

There’s a minute amount of toilet paper
poking out of the hole in the middle
I find emergency supplies in my handbag
I keep some spare to use when I piddle

My hubby will be patiently waiting
he’ll be playing spider solitare
next time I’m gonna use the gents loos
because there’s never a queue in there!

Premium MemberKindergarten These Days

Stand up and cheer very loudly if you know your a’s, b’s, and c’s.
Not so fast, Quinton, Hallie, Sammy, Tom, Brandon, and Kimberly.

Kindergarten is tough if you don’t know your letters or how to write pages, numbered.
Kindergarten is more like first grade used to be when your grandparents so lumbered.

Unfortunately, five is the new seven, because most of your peers have been in school 2 years
By the time these seasoned 5’s reach kindergarten, they are way ahead in knowledge, worksheets, and cheers.

They know the school song, the slogan, the principal, the vice, and both pledge of aliegences all by heart.
They are so far ahead of you who did not attend preschools, that it is not a very even start.

Just be aware that what you are learning is for your own good, and the good of your parents, but how?

When you grow up and you know so much stuff, hopefully you can begin taking care of them both now.

God's Little Children

We are like children…
When they are tired,
When they are ready to rest,
They are ill…and upset-
and very loudly let us know
by all their expressions…

They cry, they pitch a temper fit…
All to get our attention.
They really want our welcoming arms,
our hugs and kisses and a good
little bed to fall asleep in.

God knows us so well,
He too, looks down and sees our needs.
He holds out his welcoming arms to
enclose us, to hold us…
Until the tempest has passed.
He loves us…We are His little children.

Would That Be a Chicken With Custard Or Cream and In Hexagonal Or Circular Form

A slice of is figment is not stone carved melon nor mould of moon cake nor is it moaning marbles moving momentously. It is fascinating to note that steam rolling over headlines using big heavy wheels can induce a certain amount of jelly, carbonated drinks, hexagonal fishcakes, and seaweed to jump from the cupboard climb out of packets and sing very loudly in simultaneous song. The voice of a vortex is a visionary visualising vivarium vicariously vibrating vocabulary. And all the while the little letters let linking lemurs laugh. Lemurs laugh lovingly and love is not an itemised bill with googly eyes nor is it a meter reading a tome. So all hail in a pail for a puffing puffin is chewing on a boiled sweet today. Hahaha millionaire millipede moving many mice. Hahaha a pair of eagle faces in skintight shirts prancing. Xxxxx synchronisation z z z z z at seven thirty six a m on a dusty humid track of a bathroom floor with no b side eclipse effect. Z

Singing On the Bus

I used to sing on the school bus,
Harmonise and everything, full blast,
Most of the others had strong voices,
And I would wish mine was cast.

Geoff the driver would put Radio Forth on,
And we’d all sing along very loudly;
There was nothing there to sing above,
No-one to distract or behave scornfully.

My mum told me off three times,
For singing in church normally and confidently,
As she needed me to have a place for her,
To nurture me and disciple me intelligently.

So since I was four, I've never really sung again,
In church, all dressed up and religious,
So I greatly appreciated those times on the bus,
When the others were about my voice zealous.

I remember Morvan who had Christian grandparents,
And George who really had a lovely voice,
And Keith who would join in whenever he wanted to,
And Kirsteen who thought she had no choice.

It was an offish old yellow mini bus,
With dark yellow and brown triangle seats,
So it reminded me of the yellow submarine,
And I looked forward to its shortcut cheats.

The Chicken Bank, Foiled

Dave...The armed robber
Bank robber
Back in sixty-three
Would leave me sleeping muvva
For much skullduggery

Raiding banks, petrol stations
And very auften...I swear
He even raided
The new joint
Called............ Mothercare

And wake his giant angel
Who very loudly snored
With booties bonnets mittens
And cardies, she adored

One day they got raided by many Old Bill
Dave got all panicked
Bout the money he did steal

Muvva said dont worry' i know the perfect place'
(she pulled out the chicken roasting)
A grin upon 'er face

She stuffed its hole with money
Whilst Dave let in, The Bill
She stood there trying not to grin
As Dave looked slightly ill

They searched high and low
Even toilet system
But never checked the fowl
Most glorious, which
Very smoothly glistened

They even praised Ma's roast
The aroma was devine
They said how they hoped
Theirs would be arf as fine

Off drove the coppers
Ma, Dave raced to the chicken
Pulled out all the dollar
Whilst happily finger licking

Christmas Love.

Christ the child has the right to hear his own name.
Has it come to this point that we shudder in shame?
Recall haughty Peter who did three times deny.
Is this His day or not? And if not, pray tell why?
Sneering hate and disdain conveyed in vague words.
They smear His soft visage in foul urine and turds.
Mankind turns rapacious, nary one second thought.
As they pay attention to the trinkets they bought.
Sacred shunted aside, forgotten, not sought.

Let us confer upon Him one great gift we can give.
Over all of the prayers we might say while we live.
Very loudly, proclaim Him to all ends of this earth!
Every creature kneels down. Bless the night of His birth.

On Rude 111

Snippets of conversation, barely overheard,

words not directly related to my own words in reality.

Always delivered to ear oh so very loudly.

Listen to these words of rhyme, as eye pen this ode to rude.

Catalougeing all the words of special meanings overheard.

A man and a woman and a man.

All three of them conversing at the same time.

The first man called the woman a expletive.

"YOU little eXpletive" he cried.

She is NOT so little so eye smiled.

"I need a cigarette" said she, and the other man

echoed the first. " Take this one" he offered her the cigarette.

"You eXpletive", was his utterment.

It astounded me, as we were in the puBlic eye.

One thing was certain. They never even noticed me.

Never saw me as a person. They just played out their ruminations.

Just giving me the benifit of their public conversation.

How ugly does it seem to ewe?

She was almost screaming as they left,

"Give to me a lighter too, for my cigarette".

I would NOT conjecture just what these people do.

Away from puBlic eye.

In Private.

Voices of Communication

They live in a world of silence
Yet they can hear remarkably well
For they hear with their hands
And their eyes speak volumes

Communication does not need to be verbal
Much can be said through action
Even more sometimes is said through inaction
Eyes have no ears, yet they hear all

For pity can be heard and felt
Fear of the unknown can be seen
Ignorance is not silent
It screams very loudly

The deaf may not hear a falling tree
Yet a smile sends them your laughter
A hug sends them your love
Tears show them your sadness

They most certainly hear,
The pity in your eyes
The ignorance when you avert your gaze
The feeling of being shut out, silenced even more

Talk to them with your hands
Silence to you, but wonderful conversation to them
Filled with emotion and action
Speak to them with your eyes, end their silence

They are deaf, not mute, not dumb
Simply quiet in a world of noise
Waiting for you to communicate
Waiting for you to finally hear their voice
