God's Little Children

We are like children…
When they are tired,
When they are ready to rest,
They are ill…and upset-
and very loudly let us know
by all their expressions…

They cry, they pitch a temper fit…
All to get our attention.
They really want our welcoming arms,
our hugs and kisses and a good
little bed to fall asleep in.

God knows us so well,
He too, looks down and sees our needs.
He holds out his welcoming arms to
enclose us, to hold us…
Until the tempest has passed.
He loves us…We are His little children.
