The smoldering sun shines incessantly
Until the earth’s humidity hastens
The forming of cinereal clouds calmly covers
The spacious skies above and suddenly
Gentle rain soft but steady
Begins to fall, splattering and wetting the soil.
The pitter-patter pronounces a petrifying tune
Upon the roofs, amorous rondel tunes.
Oh, how I love the fresh feeling of the rain.
I feel like singing in the heavenly showers
I get dishevelled and drenched.
Yet I will sing a symphony of love,
For I am happy even more.
Love is in the air.
Thank God, no lightning spoils the sky.
Yet it rains even more.
The grass is even greener now.
It sparkles with dewy drops,
And sheds its pleasant petrichor,
A harmonious and happy fragrance
In our vast verdurous vale.
Meantime my Mary joined us in the melee`,
We dance a Dougie under the deluge,
Until tired we went in for a warm shower…….

How am I so wounded by you?
Arrows never shoot, but run me through
Beautiful viper poisoning; stares straight, not a skew
I'm glad to be seen by their bite; I'll be its anti-venom, too
Covetous my own thoughts of envy; verdurous thy view
They're green and ravenous, but see me in a form so true
Eyes that sing a siren song; control my affection they do!

Bestilled and collected grand sensation,
stares at the glint of a harvested moon,
cast haulage divorcing neath horizon,
rise the yam sun that courses a forenoon.
Northern sways o'er ripen earth, fortunate
lofty leafy legions stretched abandon,
piles of crumpled layers, gifts pearlescent
brilliance of the immortal descension.
Towering mist espouse the crusted loam
and verdurous instilled life progresses
amid impaled saffron petals that comb
the scene all strewn against a capricious
path of lain chartreuse fronds and with the weight
of feet crinkles crispy snaps with your mate.

Oh, how lovely to cast thy eyes on heavenly bodies.
Where satellite images refract
beneath clear transparent streams.
Myrtles mute and calm.
Wherein verdurous traits acquired.
Yearns to cross t-s' and dot i-s' .
Thoughts flew through for considerations.
Cool breeze through lustrous despondent atmosphere.
Goosebumps all over bodily cover.
Some fond improbable delights.
But striking the flag not an option.

Dawn spread iridescence hues,
Dancing on nooks and crevices
Of the high mountains.
Down in the verdurous vale
In nooks of winding paths
Grew all sorts of fruit
Like honeyberries, blueberries,
Jewelweed and yarrow.
I was more interested in the berries,
And picked as much as I could.
Before the shy sun rose to a great height.
No one could bear the heat of noon.
I betook myself to my cabin
Where a northern breeze blew.
I took a shower and examined the berries.
I could dance with bliss.
Winter will provide sumptuous jam.

That About A Face
Previously responsible concerning an adolescent resplendent facial hallmark,
Awarded to privileges and sanctioned embellishment favoring enhancement,
Over time, years chip away unnoticeably o'er worn breathless moments,
Taunt texture of an arduous youth evaporates in a whimsical hallucination,
Face delicately immersed in a penny-filled wishing well made full by an Irish spring,
Whereby, encroaching four-leaf clovers anticipate deviating hands to favor,
For a wealth of squishing palms to rub gently the verdurous lucky
chartreuse petals,
Against foretelling fluctuating skin with moisturizing balms that saturates the aged cavities,
Alas, rebellious slaves to periodical moons ebb the epidermis as once kept promises reneges,
Former fields of the dermis yield a harvest worthy of an ample supply of suppleness o'er a lifetime,
Where cherished glorious heyday occupied a magnificent proffered face for cameras to envy,
In the advance of time, I am content to gracefully tender the waning years for a fair measured distance as a camera poses for a closeup.

Scented Leaves
Flowery fragrance sorts divisive airflow and cooperates amidst plethoric aubergines that bathe breathlessly, brushing raised exemplars of strewn unfurled chartreuse fronds, lain in the wake of humble pattered feet enthralled in its tangy betrothed crisp path,
Ingratiating themselves against engaging tickles of countless laddered leaves being crushed, bursting citrus piquant squirts that flavors a blessed orangey tawny forest of verdurous lime greens and lemony leaflets of carpeted existence essences,
Autumn gifts a luminous prism of extraordinary combinations touching rainbow eyes to favor, and unimaginable pleasure of incalculable noses to savor, as per crowning Heaven, immerse its creation re sun-drenched over-shades lathered in a pool of multiple redolences.

I persist in singing my unknown beguiling ballads
As the verdurous pasture slowly glides
Over the vernal bowers of wilderness!
Yearnings, sorrows and joyfulness
Prompt me to offer floral tributes
To this celebrated earth wherein
For a while I roam to glimpse its grandeur—
Its legacy and alliance with mankind!

I feel as if we've met
But we have never touched
We've shared but many words
Although, none escaped our lips
Hearts flutter and faces flushed
Our words arouse our eyes
A mass of land and a bed of
blue brine
Are what pains my heart the most
Like a songbird in a golden cage,
Freedom is in sight
But what use is what lays before my eyes
if what I long for isn't tangible?
One day, my distant dear
You'll stand before my face
Two missing pieces will mesh
Off to a land of verdurous pasture
Afar from the curse of man
Where our souls will thrive
and intertwine
And happiness will no longer be,
something we tire our feet on chasing.

Thy beauty likes so far of star’s light
Thy beauty likes the section of the river’s flow
Thy beauty likes nocturnal dreams
Thy beauty only for me…
Thy beauty likes the deep blue sea
Thy beauty likes clouds in the sky
Thy beauty likes verdurous arbor .
When I see the waves of the Ocean
When I hear two birds is singing little out of reach at the plant,
Then I think all fairest creation beauty likes thy.

My coffee percolates effervescently, employing all its onomatopoeia
After its flight from the rainforest of Amazonia
(Its grinds are tired)
And as it cools I sip the rich, dark serum of the earth
The salvation of Fair-Traders I hope I paid more or less directly
They, the fauna of the 11.4 square feet of variegated flora,
Nobly parading the verdurous spectrum,
That I am promised my daily click on an environmental website is preserving
And is this my contribution to this life?
Hopefully I will remember to turn the computer off after this
Or else I’ll break even on the rainforest
My contribution?
I am Proust reborn
Didn’t accomplish much by my age, either
Another eleven years before he would’ve started Swann’s Way
Tomorrow is another day
(Another 11.4 square feet
I hope)
Someday I will begin

The cool breeze carries with it
The distant songs of blackberry winter.
Slowly seeping through your mind's barrier,
The verdurous artist's lush designs...
Come to life.
The everlasting evergreens are forevermore evolving.
In your mind, where the sky is always pink,
And the sun is purple, the dreams have never found
An easier road to travel.
On Spring's honey stairway, they fly.
The shadows, blue. Blue.
Silver apples. Silver apples.
Falling from the cherry sky.
Falling to the ground,
And sprouting orange flowers.
Nightfall comes swiftly though,
And oh! How prosaic this image is rendered,
In the light of a moon that colors the world
In black and white.
