A world of varieties
To be developed
And to be chosen at random
The materialistic world flourishes
The commercial activities activate
The youngsters herald the changes
The currencies flow in and out
In a world of varieties
Everyone is pursuing the materialistic world iof varieties
And so money is the only target for hardworks and ambitions
To buy and possess abundantly
Varirties
In this world of varieties

His name was Tom, he was an engineer.
This was not his calling, it is amazingly clear.
He stumbled upon apples at a market one day.
And he said “listen to me, right away!”
There are lost apples, people have not eaten for a hundred years.
I am going to find them, and raise them up, in these mountain clears.
Arkansas blacks, and Rusty Coats that are soft like pears.
Sweet as honey, they will attract all kinds of bears.
Mr. Brown has an orchard, and he is a super sleuth.
He has tracked down many varieties, this is the truth.
An elderly lady led him to the very last Junaluska apple tree.
He now can grow them as well as the Cherokee.
Tom Brown, you are a hero, for your avocation.
We apple pie baking folks are glad you live in our nation.
Thank you for rescuing the Grimes Golden sweets.
That they taste of nutmeg is rather neat!

We received our invitation
To an old time music hall.
Where gentlemen wore Sunday's best
And ladies; to the nines.
Relaxing in the saloon bar,
Exchanging pleasantries.
Pre theatre drinks of cocktails,
With beers and fine French wines.
Then ushers wearing waistcoats,
Flat caps and polished boots
Announced in fifteen minutes,,
It would be showtime soon.
With bright lamplights, slowly fading low,
A wedding march played, then on with the show,
For our granddaughter, to be married on stage.
After all the photographs, and brushing tears away,
Waiting in the wings, until the fat lady sings,
Was a vintage charabanc, made in the good old days
Transporting us in time, with an ageless grace
To a wonderful feast, where we did celebrate.
It did not seem to be, that so long ago,
A pretty little girl, was sitting on our knee.
Nostalgic moments, for us to recall.
Safely locked inside, our abiding memory.

what was God thinking
when He made porcupines
and skunks
didn't He know they'd stick us
didn't He know they stunk
what was the beauty
in bats, rats and flies
bats they mostly scare us
and rats they draw the flies
to the ocean he gave
electric eels, jellyfish and sharks
don't even think of touching them
or you'll get a bite without a bark
and in the land of swamps
populated with misquitoes
leeches and lizards
disease infested, blood sucking
ugly looking critters
what was God thinking
when He was doing all of that
He was just board
with simple dogs and cats
