The exigent mountain
in the tough terrain
of upheaved life,
          crumbling,
needs to be climbed
as the solemn summit
alluringly calls.
I follow
the undefined trail
in surging storm
of stifling strife,
          relentless.

I cross with piety
the divine portals
God installs
in the precincts
of eclipsed destiny,
          dormant.
In His decree,
designed with certainty
I repose resolute trust,
faith shows me the path
to the content summit
of solacing rapture
in the dark nights
of scary squalls,
          delusive.

The turbulent sea
of chaotic life
in tempestuous disarray,
I need to sail
          serene,
find with forbearance
the last anchorage,
get guided
by His benign beacon
with dedication just,
          steadfast.

The tormenting alley
of endless anguish,
          submerged
in opaque darkness
          desolate,
needs to be lit,
the shreds
of shattered soul
salvaged from the abyss,
are to be sutured
with threads
of divine essence
esoteric,
embroidering ecstasy
at the frail fringe
of agonized actuality,
shaping the survival instinct,
indomitable.

Modest Giant

For its own proud boast
Nothing lusty heard
For a tree, gleamy leaved, raised is.
Its bird; left to it.
With an upheaved breast
To sing, far and wide, its praises.

Before the Electric Fan Hit Itself

Back then before upheavals upheaved,
people were gracious
but lacked a common sorrow -
it made them a little dull.

Occasionally a local danger
would excite but rejoicing
and grieving never became universal.

Then came the Messengers,
the Messiahs. Devils
followed them like hyenas
to steal their words.

No wonder some wrote poetry
in notepads they carried around
like alien history books.

What with all the heavy heaving
and the collective maddening
we all need a personal testament;
something to believe in. Right?

Premium MemberCalmness

Beyond the horizon
the frothy bliss of the upheaved lake
clashes against the shoreline
the lasting impression broken by
dawn's brightness emerging
I stand breathless
watching the onyx sky dissappear
and coral streams
spread evenly through-out
November's chill runs up my spine
and i'm filled with a calmness
watching God's work unfold

Before It All Began

Before nothingness was nothingness,
Before names, nameless,
Before It formed, formless,
Before completely dark, darkness
Before an age, ageless
Before words, silence
Before silence, Stillness
Before ancient, elders
Before elders, nothing
Before nothingness, emptiness
Before it began, it begins
Before creation, thought
Before thought, awareness
Before awareness, order
Before order, chaos
Before chaos, Collisions
Before collisions, a single atom
Before a single atom, one
Before one, none
Before none, time begin
Before Time began, a rotation
Before Moon and rotation, isolation
Before isolation, incantation
Before incantation, incarnated
Before incarnated, absolute black
Before the black, even Blacker
Before that was blacker, it was blackest
Before it all begin to churn, rotate, and collide, a God created
Before a God created, goddess
Before a goddess..... The goddess of all life, all time, all worlds, all realms, upheaved.

the Hunter
God gives not peace, tis only dreamt by man,
in all the world brought from catastrophe,
all things are made, since time has first began
by things upheaved so that new life can be;

the weak must fail, be eaten by the strong,
and losers die the death along the way,
so life it grows, even if life is wrong,
there is no time the poor will have to play;

the lion who will lay down with the lamb
will have a feast before the day is done,
and all the world will never give a damn
nor care about the giants and their fun;

the hunter takes his aim and fells the dove
all of the weak in life are dreaming of.

Crossing the Deaf

A siege had an agenda
for a suicide match.
Treat him with dignity.

A proxy face of a serial
adultery. The collateral damage
will not be undone.

The aggressor denies the scrutiny.
You will find some upheaved
boats in his hideout.

There cannot be any deniability
for a long legged journey
towards the hot coals.

The battle for the lost glory
has begun between two moons.
one in sky, other in uprising.
