Unbridled, Untied, reaching to the infinities, Thou
- Rabindranath Tagore---Geetanjali
17th December
Unbridled, Untied, reaching to the infinities, Thou
Strumming with own, melodious mellow
Blossoming thine grace in fragrance of mine
Hence, thy reason, gentle and sweet, stays on, rumination.
For so many vibrance, color and chime
For so many a song, came along, rhythm and rhyme.
For they, simplest and gentlest, affectionate and loving
Understood a soul in silence, long lost heartache and grace, embracing.
Thou, a shrine, and I, when, integrity, underneath
Glowing in the dark, the ever-flowing David and Goliath.
The books of divine, where they remembered us in thine
Grace and her seven seas, an enormous possibility
The fathomless oceans and the foamy seas,
The wave and the droplets, reflections, deep
Luminous tranquility, and a rueful serenity, shadowless
Returns to me, in becoming mine
Teardrops and churns, emotion and serene
trickles down on me, a mournful sea!
All-encompassing Thou, traces back to me
Sweetness, overwhelming, and grace
undisturbed, absorbed a mood along, joyous!

The thin thread of the horizon
where the sky meets the sea welcomes me
with my dreamer's dreams of peaceful serenity
as I walk the soft undulation of the seashore
to absorb the vastness of its realm
filled with shades and shadows
whether from above or below
to allow my spirit to wander in search of silent mysteries
and untied thoughts
so I may escape the world of confusion
on the shores of white waves and aqua blue water
drawing strength with each salted breath
from its ebb and flow that offers a tranquil eternity
of quiet solitude and beautiful bliss
that will remain long after I'm gone
and like so many others
discover the dreams of my soul
as it soars to the horizon
where the sky and sea meet

Fallen flower
By my back you kept a watch
Snatched from life
Wrenched mark decidedly contrived
Knot in my soul
Untied, I stumble in the night
Our time dissolved
Rejoin ahead our fields of light

untied shoelaces
runners to their mark
legs are now bout to hurt
ran past the day unto the dusk
runners to their mark
beating is my heart
ran past the day unto the dusk
got trip up
beating is my heart
legs are now bout to hurt
got trip up
untied shoelaces

I've been walking these them streets;
Trippin and fallin;
Skinned my elbow and knees;
Lying on my back lookin at the trees;
Wondering will any body come and help me;
Guess I've wouldn't have fallen;
If my shoe laces were tied;
Guess I'm payin my dues;
Trippin off laces of untied shoes;

That boy with untied shoelaces,
Stumbled and fell, in most of the cases.
Rocks on the road were never a reason.
However it might be,
The unexpected treachery and treason!
The untied laces made him a cynosure.
Too because he was, a part of the annual brochures.
When asked, he would always come up afresh,
With a new excuse.
And when instructed to tie them,
Why would then, he often refuse?
Letting them untied,
The fear of loosening never haunts...
The delicious fruit of freedom,
Oh! Everyone wants...
Often welcoming the expressionless faces,
There he goes on trodding...
That boy with untied shoelaces...!

The evening was purple
she sliced through it
breaking apart it's
Structure,
bringing color to its
Silence.
She held my hopes with
the same ease with which
she holds the earth;
in her palms,
peeling it like her very
own fruit.
Hopes uncovered, bare,
in her palm
I became undone
and what of my hopes?
Her fragrance was stubborn.
And what of my hopes?
Dry in the midst of a moist evening.
I ran into this very same
tie a week later,
hanging in my closet
closed in
in an atmosphere
without substance.
I don't have the nerve
to put it on again
to let it hang around my neck
the way it did that evening
with her
undone.
