i have no idea's for this next poem
i'm just going to write this to see where it's going
but it won't go anywhere because i have no idea's
so i'm going to end this poem here see ya
I'm just kidding it's not ending there
making a poem that short is something i can't bear
but guess what i don't care.
but really i do
why else would i write these poems i do.
but that was back when my ideas were good
now there just stupid or misunderstood
how about neither or how about both
i just keep on typing
this poem without a point it's like and unsharpened pencil or something like that.
i think i'll end this poem here
so what do you think about that.

Love’s Pawnshop
by Odin Roark
Unable to pay the debt
Love is often pawned
Sympathy as a claim check
Stuffed deep in pockets of suffering
Such self-deprecation roams the streets
Perplexed with using the tender
As peace offering to the beloved
A gesture risking resentment
Nothing conducive to healing
Perhaps better spent on survival-type passion
Allusion’s princely blind beggar with pencils
Rewards for the coin-drop sound in the cup
Solicitude’s offering without expectation
Without questionable agenda
Such is the giving spirit
Often in trouble
Never without company
Welcoming emotion’s exchange
Leaving behind longing’s conundrum
To examine itself truly naked
Sincerity’s immunity
Impervious to manipulation
Or desire’s self-deceit
Once the reward
Now but a cast-aside
A melting of chicanery’s
Falsity of spirit
Later
Amidst midnight shadows
A lowly pawn ticket of imagination
Embraces the enigmatic unsharpened pencil
They rest side by side
Atop life’s universal shelter
Where loveless anxiety takes cover
Awaiting another day
Perhaps THE day
When needs will find
Love’s pawnshop ready
To teach them as well
Precious lessons
Somewhere
Out there

My fangs
Can explain
The nature of my being
Better then any name
Unsharpened
So as of to heighten
The pleasure in their meaning
Merciless
Relentless
There is no point in screaming
Your mind I’ll break
Your soul I’ll take
The body left for carrion
Except the eyes
I’ll save for my collection
for my love p.d. who has teh only eyes worth keeping. and the only body worth ravishing. and the only soul worth feeling.

A pair of spectacles
an unsharpened pencil
an eraser, pink, shaped like Tennessee
Which of these is truth?
Answer quickly or fall to hell!
