Love

Unrequested rule, extreme desire
Unfair play, selfish will of out of life
Drowning, sooty air, life killed by
Wants a stable existence with

no love
for life

Premium MemberThe Contract

A contract can be signed by pen
or, by two stranger’s eyes by chance
that fleeting catch, a knowing glance
across a room of girls and men
whose status remains unstated;
unrequested, this night, one night!
Only counted the eyes’ invite
that not needed be translated;
the rut restated for a fleet
into a rollercoaster ride
of emotions; without a guide
and therefore so, not so discreet.
A ruinous calamity
will ensue come next morning rise
when answering the where the whys;
price of one night's frivolity.

The Love Bug

The love bugs.

Love is like diabetes you have it and live with the malady
taking the right medicine but is not going away.
When a man falls in love, he thinks he is in heaven and follows
where love takes him until it dawns on him, he loves
a person who doesn´t love him or pretends to love him.
Whether she leaves him or he leaves her, the pain is equal.
It has no cure only a lifelong sadness that like a shadow
is always with him, if he had been more caring, she might
have stayed, but he knows in his heart it is not so.
Those who care about him say, if you stay at a bus stop a bus will
stop, but, it isn´t not going his way.
Unrequested love is like diabetes he has to accept and go on with
the business of living, after all, sadness makes a person more
understanding to other people’s problem.

Tribute To My Father

You taught me how a mortal should live
And this I value more than what Kings give,
Your meek gait from the church into the grave
Such long-lasting wisdom and inspiration gave.

You read the Scripture under the noontime shade
And this taught me lasting lessons that will never fade,
That hope is dead that comes not from the Savior above
And that the rest men seek in vain until they seek his love.

Had you left behind colossal measures of gold
Such that all before me unrequested bowed,
Vain I would grow and think everyone stunk
And treat my fellow men like unwanted junk.

But kind heavens loved your darling kid
And something greater upon him did,
The rare gift of faith the Almighty gave
And poured the water and blood that save.

When he surveys his surroundings and sees
The twinkle of the stars and the dancing of the trees,
He thinks of the eternal wealth of hope past death
And mocks the cares that come with fleeting breath.

When a Man Cry

When a man cry
The walls has broken
Spirit had left the body of his brother
Then headed down the street of nothingness
When a man cry
He had fallen from his responsibilities
And could not get hold of his ground
Because of the strong hands of desperate depression.

When a man cry
He had been cheated and made
To go beyond his ability in the face
Of injustice and denial.
When a man cry
Mountain fall, the died walk
and the living strife for peace
Rivers weep, coal becomes white
whilst the elephant trumpet.
The moon hide under the cloud for peace
He is nostalgia up his unrequested
situation of lack and want
Tears and pains, sadness and humiliation
Betrayal and infidelity.

Men cry for reason which moves swifter tan light
Watch, it takes the fall of the heart and body
For a man to cry.
When those tears pours, it overflow the river of darkness
Overshadow multitude of unquestionable situations
Which makes the heart weak and unpredictable
It outrageous to watch a man cry.

Love Unrequested

Love Unrequested

The lady across the road had beautiful grey hair, thick and
glossy, I admired her mane because she was eighty five.
Her hubby about her same aged died, I attended the funeral,
open casket, in death he looked handsome, old man asleep.
When people get old some do not realize how old they are,
and the old lady, since I had admired her lovely hair, thought
we could be a couple; only I was fifty two at the time and not
overly interested. The lady took offence felt humiliated since
she already had told the villagers I loved her.
A day when I was doing a bit of weeding around the house
She came out; called me a womanizer hit me with her umbrella.
              Well I´m not heroic, fled into the house and bolted the door;
and the villagers were greatly amused. She moved to a rest
home and I could go out without being assaulted. I read in
the paper she had just died at hundred and five, but I will not
               attend her funeral….I think.

Campbells Chicken Soup

I ain't quite ready yet!
To stand in the dark recess of the cupboard
As unrequested
Out of date
Discontinued
Campbells..... chicken soup

My heart still listens
My stomach
Still loops the loop
When you are around

Yet still
I just stand
Unenjoyed
Unemployed by loves relish
So as a pitiful dog
I'll lay in my basket
And just embellish
