Sitting on the block of the day
Looking into amethyst abyss
No longer seen as hunter or prey
Disenfranchised like blue cold kiss
Watching the animals fight their wars
Knowing some win some lose
Feeling the wrath of attention whores
Singing their hill street blues
On the block of irrelevant images
Whatever the dress of the time
Homeless roaming toward suttle scrimmages
For resources of food courses limited line
Lemon love served in a soul bowl
From churches so big from no taxes
The church like homeless grow
Seem to me there’s no homeless factoring
We can pay for sports arenas sure
And ship athletes around the world
Leaving disenfranchised potential pure
Of the unhoused blue boys green girls
Sitting on my writer’s block
Not pretending to know wisdoms hacks
Really disenchanted with it all
Maybe my pen can bring me back to black

Fair maiden was guarded by chaperone
Yet her vision was filled by a gallant
He too wondered how they could be alone
Then he remembered the jousting pageant.
Their encounter would be quite illicit
If his liege lord knew feelings were engaged
Her favours he would take quite explicit
Their feelings acknowledged and wholly assuaged.
Wonderful day sky ethereal blue
Strong-brave knight carried her silken favour
Both knew their precious love was pure and true
Thundering horses fearless to danger.
Their love life doomed maiden in dire distress
Her knight unhorsed, dead, they'll be no caress.

She was a less-than-truckload lady
Who’d signed a contract for the long haul
With the interstate driver she married.
But that trucker kept a bogus bill of lading
And a logbook full of lot lizard flings.
So now she’s rolling down the big slab
In her hubby’s bobtail bulldog,
His gooseneck flatbed stranded in the wings.
She’d just renewed her CDL for diesel;
Her unexpected dispatch wasn’t forced.
Her old man was a cracker-headed weasel.
She left him feeling semi divorced.
Semi divorced, like a rider unhorsed.
She took away his way to keep on trucking.
Semi divorced was the judgement, of course.
He fooled around with fire and got a f*cking.
What you say?
I say, he fooled around with fire and got a f*cking!
We hear dat.

What about China?
When they compel you to stay home,
imposing cloaks on nature's beauty
as a fellow friend becomes a foe
and the media unhorsed propaganda
Can we all all ask
what about china?
When old Brit's prime minister
masked tyranny by orders
confining millions to solitude
for the fear of his fickle frame
susceptible to the Wuhan's scourge
can we all ask,
what about China?
When confused men make projections
to feed the greed of the tech giants
or to maintain the cult of the pharmacy
as the media control our lives
as we surrender our freedom to fear
can we all ask
what about China?
So fast was the manipulations
so wide did it spread
so gullible were we all without reasons
to ascent to the communist schemes
who will ask my questions?
Are they clear of the scourge, and we are not?
Can we all ask
what about China?
Communism mocks you all
Perestroika and glasnost seeks revenge
so while your media makes the rouse
as ignorant men speculates,
turning humans to masked animals
obfuscating nature's beauty
can we all ask,
what about China?

Lecherous Luther was wont to grope
He ceased to function at the end of a rope!
Here lies Cletus as stiff as a board
He slipped on the ice and busted his gourd!
Here rests our dear Ruby who failed to duck
She was beaned on her noggin by a hockey puck!
Egbert the boxer took a fatal jab to the jaw
He died on the spot for failing to yaw!
Interred below is Purvis rigid and prone
Alas, he choked on a chicken's bone!
How we lament the loss of Naomi our sister
She was whisked up and away by a Kansas twister!
Dudley kept in shape by regularly joggin'
Alas, he tripped and fell crackin' his noggin!
Phineas was laid to rest for his eternal snooze
He died too young because of his fondness for booze!
Wilfried didn't heed the warning regarding the curve
He met his doom in a Lamborghini for failing to swerve!
While breaking a bronc Tex was abruptly unhorsed
Perhaps the task would've gone better outsourced!

Nothingness has caught me by the throat
Tossed me to the innards of its prayer
Joan of Arc unhorsed in a nightmare
Burgundy makes offers for her coat
When we’re real and know the here and now
Do we entertain our thoughts and dare
To let perception grow in all its flair
Lamenting foreign insights we won’t know
From the mountain, I see Windermere
I see Coniston and Morecambe Bay
I see sheep and flat green fields arrayed
The shadows of the hills , the dread, the fear
Where can we be now on this our March?
The moon, the sky , the aluminium arc
The universal suffrage of the dark
The rights of strangers, the Triumphal Arch
