Purple colour for honeymoon night
No beige nor cream or pure snow-white
Purple, to note.
Not violet nor lilac or iris or grape
Though purple to hold and slowly undrape…
Mine, to tote.
As happy I’ll be with my heavenly hue
From mixing together rich red and blue
Love, he wrote.
Oh what a night with crimson delight
to breathe in the essence of you
where purple unfurls in your goldilock curls
from blending a beautiful blue.

After the fog cleared, I could see.
In roughly a few steps from me
Exclusive land that reaches the sea
Praise God who made it utterly!
A long, densely planted tree spree
The mood must be darker, mostly.
it's a puzzle on cool prairie
Praise God who made it utterly!
Mystery in the cold, moist air.
The houses waited for the snare.
The ocean was lost in his angry.
Praise God who made it utterly!
Old man sits under a pine tree.
Tulip tree near shadow's alley.
His beard nudges with the calm sea.
Praise God who made it utterly!
Cross-section of a staunch landscape.
Veins like the wind's traces undrape.
As seen from drumlin topped species;
Praise God who made it utterly!
River has kids whirling on ice.
Over drift pile green water-scarves.
one where hungry ravens can glee
Praise God who made it utterly!
Being landscape, shedding snow-light.
After a snowfall, keep the peace.
after a snowfall, keep the Ecstasy
Praise God who made it utterly!

I've deleted this acrostic from the competition for personal reasons.
SORRY, J. D.
G lorious was the morning I climbed the Scottish highland
R adiant warmth of Summer's sun shimmered over the trail
E mblazoned with clover, near a forested Wych Elm stand
A stonished at the scenic vista, my lofty imagination set sail
T raipsing across the North Sea, I was Captain in command
E lusive was the tailwind on my adventurous nautical escape
S cotland clamored for my return, 'Make haste. Hurry home!
C ast your notions upon the wind. Your spinnaker, undrape
A nother day will you play, when in illusory flight you roam
P erchance invite another dreamer and don your Tartan cape
E mbark upon a getaway beyond the heathered hills of loam'

Deep within the caverns of my mind
where few imploring souls have ever wandered,
there residing secrets you will find,
and all the deepest thoughts I’ve ever pondered.
Thoughts of happiness and love and life
that wrap around my dreams within my musing;
darker visions fill my thoughts with strife,
the jealousies and greed my life abusing.
Reveries adrift along the wind,
and echoing the thoughts of lust and passion;
feelings that my pride will not rescind;
emotions that my soul will never ration.
I am but a knave of foolish dreams,
these fantasies that ever leave me hoping;
plotting evermore misguided schemes
that leave my hapless spirit merely coping.
Knowing life is built on shifting sand,
I’m keen that some are wanting to undrape me;
therefore these deep secrets I remand,
and never will these deepest thoughts escape me.

In scratchy swales emitting Clorox gas,
Matador houseflies cross paralyzed eyes;
A kaleidoscope scene where jagged glass
Cracks beneath footsteps of love’s promised lies;
Forgotten by choice through hell-flickered sight,
Confusion screams at a dead mobile phone,
Gripping slick sanity ever so tight,
Un-stabled by speaking to Nothing’s tone.
Tormentors nearby prepare their escape,
Entrusting blindness to suffocate truth;
Black swans are they, drinkin’ ‘shine to undrape
Wounds nearly healed from a vi’lated youth –
A normal day in an abnormal cave,
Where hatred rules whipping peace claimed its slave.

Pounding against the shore
My heart beats
Filling up my face, my hands, my cheeks with heat
Tears begin to role.
Tumbling down, like fireballs.
Passionate …igniting, reviving as it goes
Why oh why! Am I at despair?
Vulnerable! Exposed! My heart stripped bare
An open book for you to read
Yet shaken up with despair I feel
The thunder of doubt begins to creep
Never have I embarked on this before
Yet unknowingly, deep down I yearn! I crave for more
A sea of contemplation, an abyss of hazy expectations
Pounding against the shore my heart beats
Filling my face, my cheeks, my hands…
As you go, with heat
Rising me to utmost crest
Elevating higher then Mount Everest
Loving you more all the way
But yet! I dare not undrape my sentiments
For you, like others might not cradle them
For fear of freefalling
Yet….i hear your heart shrieking out my name
Half shocked, half heart, I am to blame.

Your body is the canvas in my frame....
My heart is the pallet ,no two colors are the same...
My hands are the brush as your curves the landscape...
I will sign it with kisses ,and the picture I will undrape..

The rose must grow to taunt all other joy's,
with it's beauty can humility be,
such triats never to be equally poised,
for beauty sets those ill-composed thoughts free,
To undrape the skin of this lovly thing,
in the hopes to find a fairer essence,
beneathe this rose a true purpose to sing,
It must be that I'm in heavens presence,
to find the rose beautiful inward out,
to find the rose that soothes the hearts of men,
but that this rose exists I am in doubt,
for this would be a rose bereft of sin,
still I search for this elusive flower,
that my heart will be soothed in my hours,
