Undevoted Poems

Your Deepness of Soul

To love me is to show your deepness of soul...
each feeling that soothes the endless uncertainty
I've traded in for hope, giving more thought to fidelity,
making me sail on windless seas bluest than any sky above;
how wonderful is closeness, away from the places I rove,
and fall into the loving arms of the woman who is willing
to go to the extremes and suddenly tame my urges of a fool:
I should be more thankful than anyone who lacks feeling!

To stay closer and listen to your tone of forgiveness
confirms your devotion to me, although I'm too undeserving;
is there a better way to make up for lost moments
and forget they were passing clouds over our silly heads?
Hugging you is embracing heaven and its wonders,
feeling you is caressing a skin that's softer than roses...
let this embrace be our promise to a bond that's never-ending!

To love me is to show your deepness of soul,
and the deeper you search, the surer I become...
that we can be inseparable in unimaginable ways;
have we ever thought that being together is our goal?
Have I ever thought that two words can rhyme
and still, be as meaningless as two undevoted lovers?

Thieves In Coat

The cloudy cloud that clouds the cloud
That hides the cowardice act the feebled speaks aloud.
For real eyes, realize, real lies.
The undevoted devotion, the greedy always cries.

The voice that voiced the voice of the voiceless
Speaking but not seeking, then act actions that are worthless.
We grow the growth that seems not to be growing,
Yet they tell the tale that for long they've been telling.

The lie they give
The truth we believe
The story they sell
To the poor they tell.

I gave, you give thieves the map to our treasure,
They loot they steal, then live in pleasure,
The thieves that came in a well fashioned coat,
We never knew... Too late we already empowered them with our vote.

You Were There When No One Else Was

You were there when I was blind
You were there when I fell behind
When I didn't know what to do, you told me
You helped me become me
You were there when the world came crashing down
You helped me get off the ground
When it seemed everything was lost you gave me hope
Throughout all my troubles you kept me afloat

You were there when no one else was
You were there to give me your undevoted love
When everone was against me you didn't leave
You were there to help me see
You were there holding my hand
Throughout my life you were my biggest fan
When I wouldn't listen you never gave up
When I was thirsty you filled my cup

You were when I showed up on your doorstep
For you, life I kept
When I was tired you helped me rest
You helped me become the very best
You were there to help me stop crying
You were there to say never stop trying
When was lost you showed me the way
Because you loved me, Life is now okay
