The underclass falls into things
Appreciating food when it comes along
Grateful for a cup of coffee or a hot roast beef sandwich
They do not beg any more
Their relatives are tapped out
Do-gooder church people types seek them out
This is how they get a new pair of shoes
The underclass is surviving
Without apology
Not caring about changing
What works for them
Would not work for many
They have friends who uplift them

On this day 11-21-24
I'm going on record to say
suicide is not an act of selfishness and cowardice
It is not an act of self-hate
but an act of pure self-love
a love so pure that it
drowns out the fathomless pain
puts an exclamation point on the end of.... hopeless.
suicide is a pearl of courage
surrounded by petals of merciful kindness
Then it's in the hands of God to put a ribbon upon the last breath
or feed it to the potter of the underclass

She wears curtains in her eyes
Uses them like a surgical knife
Draws them closed each day
To cut and blank out her daily life
And she slides in the needle
That helps her to find
The matching opacity
Of her tortured mind
Her strength and her addiction
That gets her through each day
Of the life she has to lead
To find the money to pay
For the contents of that needle
So you think her eyes are dead
As you pass her on the street
Just two dull orbs in her head
And sometimes you may think
From her dull eyed stare
She’s not in this world but
In her own hell somewhere
And she nightly works the streets
Harassed, ridiculed, abused
And so many occasions
Just paid for and used
And sometimes for a while
Her eyes are opened wide
Until she slips in her needle
And relief pours back inside
And she resumes her life
As an underclass pawn
As those curtains in her eyes
Are closed and tightly drawn

All white Westerners and Western ideas are inherently evil
Indigenous peoples are all naturally kind and good 24/7
White Western governments are all systemically racist
It is biologically impossible for a black person to be racist
Only whites murder blacks. Black men never kill other black people.
White males should be permitted to exist only as an underclass
Abraham Lincoln was solely responsible for 639,000 deaths, the murderer
Fidel Castro's regime oversaw a dramatic increase in literacy in Cuba
Zionism and Judaism promote apartheid and the murder of Palestinians
Police departments must be eliminated the world over
Prisoners everywhere must be released, their prisons destroyed
The Western model of the nuclear family must be eradicated
These are all eternal truths
They replace Mao's little red book
I have burned Mao's little red book
The lines above are my new bible

The floral crepe falling like snow
In the still humid heat of Atlanta
Distant chirps of new born flight
Interrupt the cloudless sky
I am surrounded by the slow morn crawl
Uncharted steps of the sleepy eye
A change is creeping on steel framed knees
The new foliage is planned
The human taming of nature
An unkind progress
That cloaks the underclass with appropriation
My root is made brittle
By the channeled flow of finance
What is a future without a past
But just a moment that is designed not to last
With eye to the present
I summon scrutiny to the lamb
Be mindful of the wolf
His promise only serves his hand.

Grenfell tower
ruptures the horizon,
London's skyline is scarred
like a blackened diplodocus
or a charred monument
for a laconic London bridge
still burning
But look,
linen wraps its iron-bones
mumifying the city's underclass-
an icon for future generations
oppressively,
grief hauls a heavy granite cross
as sharp rocks splinter shins
then whips wheeze
winnowing breath
ascending a modern Golgotha,
who unleashed this hydra 's fury
whose black breath incinerates
the once laughter of our kindred?
As family once sung at Christmas,
they now hear
the endless screech of sirens,
the contagious roar of conflagration.
Is London another Guernica?
trodden by apocalyptic steads
with mothers cradling dead infants,
rocking their limp limbs
in a deep dirge to red-fired skies,
furnaced by council fascists
as politically the city is fractured.
An emerging phoenix will sprout,
magenta winged against black,
from this burning pyre, a reincarnation.
a rebranded London is reborn
perused by the London Eye
ever vigilant but now blindfolded
observing justice for the unheard
and voiceless minority
as a terrible beauty is spawned

Affection brings comfort ,displays exquisiteness,
Fascinates generosity, houses ideal justice, kind-hearted
like Martyrs needed occasionally, professing quietude,
Rebuking savagery towards underclass villeins whereas
x-rated youths zinger.

Underclass ; a running box that middles
the center of a (not)living room.
Kidney table; an African girl beams
down into the smoke
an ashtray of burnt souls.
Faces full of thin beer admire
the box lights of the estate,
double binds, grins, hopless rutting.
Far ; the black flat of fields
owls and air, silence.
