When I think of traveling backwards in time
With all of life’s processes run in reverse,
The thought of unaging seems wondrously fine,
But of undigesting, decidedly worse.

Once more I have been given cause to dwell
On that ill-fated romance;
I saw you again yesterday, years hence...was
It just another casual dalliance?
The affected tilt of your cruel and
Arrogant chin, the high piling of a mass of
Staggering auburn hair;
And often I have wondered, just how did it
Come about that former calamitous affair?
Spontaneous they say? Personally I suspect
It was all rather contrived.
At that moment when I looked into those
Unaging, dispassionate eyes,
Still so very black, still so very heroically
Beautiful,
Although saddened with all the sorrows
Of a tragedy that only he and you full knew,
I found what had always been there and was
Most evident...
I needs not guess at your deeper discontent:-
A blind man's tale of lust and infidelity;
Your abhorrence of those sworn oaths that set
Sharpened keels upon white breakers of a
Sapphire sea.
I watched as you raised a hot cappuccino
To those perfect lips.
But what cared he for war and death? He took
His chance, plunged his mouth - and kissed!

For a moonshine,
there was no moon.
There was no moon
for a moonshine.
It starts a tenuous
soliloquy, raising a –
slew of questions.
Slew of questions will
evoke a mixed response.
Were you ready for
a sleepover at the shrine
to watch the St. Vitus’s dance.
It was leaking at night
from the corner of eyes.
Unaging was the secret
of polity. Are you in ?

What ever you think you know about me
Un-think it
The girl before your eyes
Is not who dwells inside
My spirit still roams the tundra
The snow, the darkness, and the cold
It still howls in the night
And my heart is wildly untamable
I still fight and I love and I run free
Freer than any could ever imagine
Because inside I am uncaged,
Uncontrollable, unbound, and unaging
I am timeless
As old as eternity and as young as a child
What ever you think you know
You should know that you don’t
You should know that you never could
And you never will.
