I walk across shadows painted on the street, from trees that shelter the sunshine
Worries drift away with the clouds, as this calming place becomes mine

Passing ferns and flowers, thoughts settle in the greenery all around
As they speak to me in a wondrous silence, simply without a sound

I know not why things can remain pleasantly simple, while humans create chaos
Seemingly not caring about the ultimate outcome or to grow instead of such loss

Oh, if only we could be more simple, focusing on the small gestures instead
I’d say we have a chance with time on our side, to find glorious moments ahead

So as I step on these shadows that can be beautiful, while branches dance in the street
I know it takes darkness to know what is light, as the dawn after night does meet

PAST PRESENT FUTURE Triple Acrostic

Past is past, so lost and gone for forever,
And no use to brood or repent further.
Sweet memories to relish and nurture,
Taught lots to proceed in new venture.

Present to decide, work prompt hard and fast.
Rectify every fault done in the past.
Enjoy life but without hurting other.
Save to be safe and secured in future.
          Every opportunity to capture.
          Noble approach to your society.
‘Time not to waste’ is the priority.

Future plan to be scheduled in life-syllabus.
Unknown zone, but always be ambitious.
To attain you goal, hope for the best.
       Ultimate outcome won’t make upset.
Respect on self with best effort that permits.
Expectation though high, but within limits.

Emily Rose

I was standing there in the silence

Watching her from afar....

Far from the blinds of ignorance

The tombs, of narrow thought?!

A girl I had known many years ago

Years afore the darkened one's

Had come to maime her life....

Or at least, the sanity of her mind!?

Unfortunate this reflection; as I stood there

In the silence as I watched; I thought

To these the simpler views; perceptions

With these painted eyes; the shallow kind....

Caught in this web of perhaps, forever lost?!

The damned I thought, as I stood there

Amid the silence; the silence; silence

Until, the silence talked; ironic I thought

As I smiled upon her priceless Soul ~

Knowing the ultimate outcome; befalling the lost!?

Carried away, as I watched; while I watched....
