To Taste, Trenchant Flavor Of Her Soft Kiss
To taste, trenchant flavor of her soft kiss,
Under night skies' munificent moon rays,
Arcadian smile, touch I now so miss,
Her guileless wit, stirring soul to this day.
To touch yet again, lush lips so divine,
Feel her deep warmth that this soul still invades,
To remember waking, to dawns so fine,
Absent embarrassing human charades.
To hold her heart, as if sweet Life it gave,
Its beauty, her amatory appeals,
Gifts of Love's Truth, did this wayward soul save,
From sclerotic heart, that too oft Life kills.
To think ruminative thoughts and agree.
Such an angel was far too good for me.

TRENCHANT WENCH FROM THE UNROMANTIC MIDLANDS
In the pub, I serve out the pints
My comely bosom gives a hint of home
And what men are escaping from – dreary sex
With housewives who scour the sink with vigour
Trim the joint and lard the fowl
Gristles of fat clinging to their knuckles
As the froth of beer clings to men’s beards.
England is a riff between the breakfast table and tea
Where homely condiments drown the flavour
Of each day, and newspapers live on scandal
The seamier the better. It makes the ordinary man
Happier than ever not to be one of the toffs
Glad that she can be had for a song
Save the one that lies buried in her throat.

Your day is fast approaching
With every deceitful lie
My sword of truth sharpens
All the manipulation you have employed
Has only allowed this blade to glimmer
Even more so
My devotion to the truth
Has given birth to a sword
That allows no tolerance for deception
Do you hear my weapon sharpening?
Upon the sound of truth in your ears
All those cunning smiles shall be abolished
The smugness if victory through deceit
Shall fly asunder as you gaze upon this blade
Of undying truth throughout years of treachery
Deep within yourself resides an uneasiness
An ever growing fear for that moment
When all your malevolent works
Shall be brought to light
Are you prepared for the battle?

So,
Think you have won
Today,
It's just begun
Launch a barrage of viscious lies
To tax the heart and mind
Behold through muddy rivers
Flows crystal waters
Pivot a man's most enduring friend
Into his newfangled enemy
Amid stormy clouds
Seeps rays of sunlight
Devour someone's dreams
And diminish their hopes
Underneath the rest
Lies unmarred gold
How do I percieve these things?
Because I possess the truth
And today it will strike you down
Like a fine trenchant sword
You will hear my every word
The day you always feared
Has finally arrived
Surrounded by darkness at all angles
From within radiates the light of truth
Decimate the body
The soul remains untainted
Lost in a maze of deception
I will allow truth to guide me to an exit
In the midst of a nightmare
I envision a dream
The truth allows me to forsee these things
The one thing
That will never be taken from me
Is the truth
Which is forever unbending
As a mountain is immovable
So I shall carry my sword
As you continue to brace self-deception
