I hear little whimpers from out in the yard.
He is searching everywhere, looking really hard.
Then I realize he is missing his littler toy dog.
He looks in an old bucket and under a log.
I realize I haven’t seen it for quite a while.
He continues to look all around the wood pile.
I’ll help you look, I wont leave you in the lurch.
We will find it. I will help you. I care I search.
Then in the garden I see stuffing from his toy.
I hide it from my old dog, he is such a good boy.
Birds have taken most of it to build their nest.
I take it in, stitch more stuffing in, it looks its best.
When he isn’t looking I toss it near the wood pile.
He soon finds it. Who said dogs don’t smile?
Oldest possession, I hold dear
Loved since I was just a year...
Doggy mine, always kept near
Red fur rubbed bare, from baby's care
Endless loving gaze, his gentle brown eyes stare
Deepen lullaby dreams, a young childhood fair.

To be honest across this Earth's soils
Conflict and turmoil
That dates way back
Far before spacecrafts, state maps
Or being able to make cash
Opportunity don't waste that
Take a chance
Get on that A.S.A.P.
Before it goes down the drain fast
A long forgotten stash sat
By an abandoned hatchback
With broken and cracked glass
Cults and rituals, one of which is a black mass
Test conducted with lab rats
Some ships at a half-mast
I'm not affiliated with Aflac
Or Nasdaq
On social media, so much sad crap
And backlash
Like a toy dog some just want to yap yap
Even though there softer than a flap jack
Better watch yourself and bag back
Before we really see who has the last laugh
Went out in the wilderness to backpack
With a knapsack
Set up camp at an open grass flat (patch)
In specific things time and or money was invested
As far as recollected
The objective
Changed perspective
And all method within a second
During a time that was festive
It turned out to be effective
Yet unexpected
Certain areas and locations infested
Individual organisms infected

A soft white pooch with a red nose
A ribbon round his neck with a tiny rose
Is a bosom friend of Nolly
Loved more than any expensive dolly
He has a place on her potty chair
And sits like a king, fat and fair
The bathtub holds a special nook
For pooch to hang by his hook
Even in her dusty school bag
The pooch goes to school with his name tag
Happy he is when with her he sleeps
And consoles her whenever she weeps
Old with age and almost torn
But with a lot of kisses is daily adorn
She plans to take him to her hubby’s home
And in his name build a mausoleum with a dome
Nolly is my younger daughter, Naureen who has a fav toy dog.
