He wears, with me, the charms of love,
exchanging gentle whispers in storms
of fascinated, trembling union.

He shares with me blue velvet nights
of careful and unmeasurable bliss,
and titivates modest morning rebirths.

He cares for me, reproof us not, we make
no show of virtue, or counterfeit innocency,
but partage, in comfort, this open honesty.

titivate: make more attractive, improve
innocency = a show of innocence
partage = share

Autumnal Musings

When the wind shifts to the south,
When the leaves wither and die,
I begin upon my path again.
Once again.

When the air begins to bite,
When the skies are beryl-blue,
My mind begins to wander,
And I wonder.

When folk titivate their lawns,
After leaves fall like summer rain,
My introspective whimsy awakes at last;
I study myself again.

Year after year,
Time after time,
Without fail, my inquisition is roused,
And I see myself again,
Like through a crystal glass.
I can see myself.

Year after year,
Time after time,
I catch the psyche’s wind,
And drift despite invective,
Despite mawkish thoughts,
And drift despite.

Utterances called upon,

To clarify emotions often unidentified,

And denied.

I expound, delighting

                            in

                               the

                                  flow

                                       of

                                         words

                                           tantalized

                                                      by

                                                         delicious

	                                                     emotions,

Awed by the resonance reverberating wall-to-wall,

Wary of crisp consonantal conspicuity

Precisely placed and aptly rolled off tongues

Come Forth

COME FORTH
"Call Master!" Swollen eyes prove disbelief.
The eerie aura of cruel silent grave
in titanic fence for cadaver’s save.
"Why us?" They thought the night-rider’s the thief:
Covert – the Victor cogitated this grief
to glory in Laz’rus – who’s a death’s slave.
Peace and tiff his kith and kin rather crave-
to sing joyful songs hid in sorrow brief.

He titled Resurrect in caliber
rolled stone; undress the Dead for longing mate.
"Come forth! Come forth!!" comforts the Comforter:
A rebirth from sleep – faces titivate:
Acquaintances wine and dine in wonder;
Saints in all generations celebrate

Before I Dream Déjà Vu's

While I dream of wild
Flower bouquets and ice
Cream kisses your nights
Consist of stampeding horses
And winter wishes maybe if
You’d let me I would be one
To love you below dreams of
Breezy underground crystal
Waterfalls you’ll hang from my
Body a chandelier of desire I to
Titivate your essence all dangly
And effervescent with ornaments
Stolen from my subconscious at only
Your arrival I lay palms at your toes
My sovereign they aid your stroll
Through my Eden rose petals at your
Spread lips I cook love potions from
The scents off our pores as we explode
In opposite directions thrilled by the
Same realization that the stars got it
Wrong and us meeting was a mistake to
Beg prayers on my knees again he’s seen
Me too many times today so many signs
I’ve seen yet they reek of more punishment
To grow tomorrow I know tomorrow does
Not come for the tulips we planted here have
Withered to almost dust in my eyes makes
Me cry so instead I close them cause this
Happened already and I lost you long
Before I dream déjà vu’s
