Free Thought

Raise a glass to all who care
About civil rights and the Koala bear
Save the planet, spare the rod
Make them listen, ride roughshod
Assume that we're ignorant, tie back our ears
Open our eye's year upon year
"Please let me through, let me go to work"
"Just Stop Oil" said with a smirk
Glued to trains, who's idea was that
The men who pay these idiots, Yes those prats
Disrupt where they can, disrupt everything
Nothing will stop them till the Fat Lady sings
They wreck havoc each day with total impunity
Disrupting our lives away from their communities
Selfish actions that can affect our lives
Not to their families but our children and wives
Enough is enough now, let us decide
Not to be bullied into taking your side
Your actions disgust me, I just want to be
In control of my thoughts which I once thought were free.

It Isn'T Over

it isn't over
it isn't over till the fat lady sings
so they say.
but i does it really go on?
does the game stop because someone sings.
next week the same game diff. team.
next season same game same team
when does the fat lady sing.
who knows

At a Wishing Well

At a wishing well

Comes a brand new morning
From a full blue moon
And the birds are out singing
And the flowers in bloom

I hear the children laughter
As they play so joyfully
With So much happiness
But there is none for me

But it’s my own fault
I fell in love with an angel
I try to reach her in heaven
But found my own hell

Yes I try to reach for the heaven
But fell into hell

I see the rainbow
Shines across the sea
It brings joy to others
But none for me

They say when the sun shines
It shines for all to see
But in my darken life
It never shines on me

But it’s my own fault
I fell in love with an angel
And she left me standing
At a wishing well

Yes she left me standing
At a wishing well

I guess I must move along now
And see what the future brings
They say it’s not over
Till the fat lady sings

And as I journey
Through this lonely world
I will always carry my love
For a Moroccan girl
Yes I will always carry my love
For a Moroccan girl
