TIME

TIME

Precise and constant it marches on.
It waits for no one, yet will stop to heal a broken heart.
Measured in thousandths of a second by swimmers
And in millenniums by the Creator of All Time.
They say it’s money—but it doesn’t make sense
That last weekend can seem so long ago
Yet each day went by so quickly.
It’s fast as lightening and slow as molasses.
Two can stand side by side and it flies for one and crawls for the other.
A friend to the child who anxiously awaits the school bell at the end of day.
An enemy to the lover who waits for the 10:35 to take her soldier to a far away land.
It means everything to the watchmaker
And nothing to the boy fishing on the riverbank.
It’s “Time On My Hands” and “Time In A Bottle”
And if you drop the e and add an i-n-g, it’s Rotten - and it’s Perfect.
And twice a year it laughs at those of us who
Spring forward -- and then Fall back
Thinking that we can change it.

Letter To Future

Letter to the Future

Dear Future Humanity

May I First say hello such a honor to write this
I can only imagine the reality your existence may be
With love I hope you overcame limitations of poverty

I am filled with excitement and optimism of you
In my current life I would see you as Gods and Goddesses
All that we strive for today, you will see it come true

We strive for equality and freedom from disease
Ending Global warming and debt free society
We strive to know the secret's of space, time, and energy.

We strive to be a race to travel amongst the stars
We strive to free ourselves of selfishness that's stirs within our hearts

We strive we truly strive.

I do ask that you forgive us for what we may do to harm our planet
Such a burden you have to spend your lifetime to correct it.

To future humanity hundredths and thousandths of years ahead
I cannot physically say how much I love you, but may you read this letter instead

Forgive us for our ignorance, and may the spirit of possibility shine
You are the current descendants of all Human kind

May you live with Grace, Love, and Peace

Simplycity

Abounding is the imperfection of this world
But seeing them is just as odd
And not seeing them too
For we are left in a ruse
Only to look
Never to see, for we are in the nook
We wish to
But never tried too

Words come in thousands
And actions in thousandths
Oh! That we may see more
Then look less out the door
It's better when we look on inside
For that is where the tonics hide
