I've been awake since three am
My mind just woke up suddenly
It circled round and round on things
Needing attention urgently
It panicked and catastrophised
It wandered back in time
It made a massive grocery list
And theorised sublime
I bargained and I threatened it
Got up and down from bed
Tossed and turned uselessly
Now I'm feeling halfway dead
But I've made a plan this morning
It's bound to work for sure
If I can stay awake till midnight
I'll sleep right through til......*snore *

I stay stationary, collapsed, in a room unlike mine
I stay bare, as I wait for my thoughts to align
the bloodied hand continues it's repetitive round
soon the dust in this chamber will have me drowned
my scaffolding will be unveiled before I accept
this isn't a hallucination because I overslept
I cry, I kick, I bite, I scream
I weep, I hit, my eye's they stream
my feet move my carcass for the very first time
so back to my predecessor's cradle, I can climb
the circle of life I complete at one and seven
and I hope to have again before I witness heaven
my consciousness a station that's only channel is you
I theorised us as true, not our love debut
the favourable and dreadful constantly contending
no speculation was given to our feasible mending
I crave to be livid and despise your existence
instead I sympathise and empathise and acknowledge our distance
your presence and aroma was a familiar setting
with your forthcoming absence it's you I'll be forgetting
formerly I was craving your presence and touch
now praying to avoid your glance and clutch
dreading to glimpse dreamy eyes turned devil
as our look will never again be that special

A world imagined
A phantom circling the sun
Veiled by her white glare
Pulling on Mercury's heels
Pulling on mankind's veiled minds
About the hypothetical planet Vulcan, which was theorised to exist as the nearest planet to the Sun in the 19th century.

Treading feet-clubbed into daylight, baring bone,
shorn of fleshtone, gaping vulnerable;
sitting ducks begging for hits
to the bullseye;
unknowing of strategies to swallow us,
part and parcel, dismantled bits.
Walking slowly, uncertain, dawned confusion:
"What was it they said, what have we bought?"
Sold on dreams of tongued gold,
corrosion lapped;
taken by life's flimflam,
conspiracy theorised, out in the cold.
Never were there Indian Spirit Guides
pointing blueprint paths to follow;
life untended to decisions made
in starry-glazed fugue;
dumbfounded, frozen shrug of shoulders,
the leering face of hope decayed.
There are no such things as losers
only people who think they know
of who and why, when and what,
and in their knowing,
in their steely zealous mind snares,
snap justice at those who do not.
You and I are no one's losers,
what we have transcends charades,
their half-existed hollow rigmarole.
We soar a different plane
of shimmering sweet harmony,
aesthetic victors forging our spirits whole.
