My love awakens me
with playful purrs,
with kitty licks
and padded paws --
we are never far
from our primitives,
to know the world by
touch, and God through
tactile mystery, replicating
senses till soaring --
Oh, one can philosophize
and theologize!
or one can cling to the
moment~ lips diving,
arms like vulture wings
enfolding, love’s cooing
triggering a salivating, primal
response – Coffee can wait!

Once there was a time (of course, not so long),
I was, in body and mind, not so strong;
Any death, as though it's my own, scared me,
Mishaps and blood I couldn't dare to see...!
Then, when I saw while slowly growing up,
Kith and kin from the cup of death did sup;
Though, sorrow brim-filled, for days I cried, wept,
The thickness turned like snow by soft sun swept...!
Money and mundane luxuries, further,
Pulled me far from realities, rather;
Death seems to me now as though a routine,
Like drinking tea or normal morning clean...!!!
I philosophize death, theologize,
Moralize today; spiritualize;
Exhibit explicit crocodile tears,
Isn't my conscience, yet, simply on airs...?

Upon the Cross
I look with my eternal eyes
No longer bound in human guise
A voice echoes across the skies
That's calling to immortalize
The spirit left by my demise
Without reason to apologize
A man comes forth to bind the ties
That causes me to theologize
And take the hand that crucifies
While reaching out to edifice
A bridge that finally unifies
The people that we ostracize
