Premium Member The Festival of Tabernacles

The leaves are turning
    A chill's in the air
  Time to head outside
    and live out there

  In a booth heaven-designed
room for a table and chairs
  Invite family and friends
    to sample exquisite fare

Not to forget the widow and orphan
    the downtrodden poor
  whose faces light up ~
as you serve soup du jour

The Feast of Tabernacles - Accessible Wisdom

10/13/12
-----------------------------------------

Man will always fall short
As long as they use their own wisdom
Be thankful for our access to God’s wisdom
Read it—and stay by it
But most of all, LIVE it

*inspired by Jerry Degier*

The Feast of Tabernacles - Conscience

10/13/12

A clear conscience is good;
A mind open and sensitive to God’s way
Produces peace and a sense of hope
However, a weak conscience,
One that is easily swayed and led away,
Lacks the knowledge that keeps one sturdy;
From a weak conscience,
A mind and heart can be easily corrupted;
Polluted by the evils of this world,
The malevolent intent works
Where sin and suffering run rampant,
Burning our minds with horrid perversity,
Giving way to that evil conscience
The mind of an entity longing to turn minds
Upside-down
Open to evil, we make decisions coldly…
When sin no longer bothers us,
Our conscience is seared;
It becomes unfeeling—cut off and silenced
The dangerous mode erodes
And the lack of guilt is just as dangerous
As too much guilt
However, godly guilt or sorrow leads to
Restoration;
And with prayer,
No matter our minds Estate,
Our minds will slowly repair,
Surrounded by the Divine knowledge
Of a perfect conscience

The Feast of Tabernacles - Now

10/7/12

---------------------

There is a multitude around the world preparing for God’s Kingdom
And there is one dark enmity preparing as well
Combatting this powerful being’s influence and persistence
Is like going against a strong ocean current during a blistery storm

Satan the devil has blinded the world
How then can we help others see the light?
God reveals through the Word something unsettling
He reveals that there will be many readily embracing
The very enemy himself

Be aware of the darkness and its devices that destruct
Many will fail to realize who is the hero
Turning to the very one that will tear them apart

There will be baggage in the millennium
The multitude will have the authority to teach
To take away the blinds from the clouded, deceived eyes
Of billions

We continue on now
We take action now
For the sake of all of those now and onwards

The Feast of Tabernacles - the Healing Journey

10/1/12

------------------------------------

Many have abused and murdered using their religion to justify
Believing in a god will not save this writhing world
So what will?
God teaches us that only believing won’t cut it
There is something we must do
We must humble ourselves and strive to be holy
Because without submission to God,
Without humility,
Satan has a way inside
And he will use God as a weapon
And turn His people against them
But if we are called—
Those few who are called,
We must act to be lights of the world
Because faith without works
Means absolutely nothing

We all falter
We all break
We can all be submissive
And humble

Using God as our navigator to the gateway of life
No longer justifying our wrongs
But fixing them as we go along

*inspired by Jerry Degier*

The Feast of Tabernacles - Regeneration

10/11/12
-------------------------------------------------

“We travel forward in time in order to secure our future
Staring up, blinking
In a speck of uncertainty
A time has come for a light to burn through
Our hearts and minds
And I am uplifted from the tides of yesterday’s sorrows
Huge responsibilities are merely opportunities
To heal the broken with words and guidance
Completing anyone seeking contentment
Yesterday seems so far from me
When the future lights its hope on me

The regeneration process has begun
There is so much needed to work on
God, give me the strength to make it through
That I may strive for completion
All for Your honor
