The Festival of Tabernacles

The leaves are turning
    A chill's in the air
  Time to head outside
    and live out there

  In a booth heaven-designed
room for a table and chairs
  Invite family and friends
    to sample exquisite fare

Not to forget the widow and orphan
    the downtrodden poor
  whose faces light up ~
as you serve soup du jour

I learned a little of the Feast of Tabernacles in an O. T. Survey class at school. Did not know how it was celebrated, I like the idea of the booths. John

Thanks, Deb. I'll be in my little 'hut' tomorrow, but no pizza for me (ala 'Pizza Hut). Just real food. Mmmmmm. Can't wait. Tra-la
