To Aju's Dad-In-Law

Fortunate are those who were thy students
With their successful career affluent

Being an asset to the society
Thou are an intellectual property

An astute trainer unto the masters
Thou have created many futures

A great feeling to have someone
In our family as Principal awesome

Now that you retire from calling
That is divine and amazing

A superannuation of legend like you
I miss o revered HM o' blood blue

I wish thee a life full of pleasures
With family fun and frolicking leisures..!!

Premium Member Twenty Years From Now

Twenty years on I'm visiting the moon,
Enjoying a space tour for retirees,
An experience out-world and a boon:
Low gravity is great for my old knees.

Hotter than the century every day,
I bask and enjoy the blessed relief,
As my arthritis almost goes away,
The sights are so clear beyond belief!

Long days are good for the insomniac,
Staff store solar energy while they can,
Because nights are months; long, cold and black,
And the seniors know how to party, oh man!

Spent all my superannuation way too soon,
Have to help science and settle on the dune!

The 2016 Election

Heading for the next election,
Votes vied for by vicarious politicians,
Who are we all voting for?
Is it for their superannuation? Or,
Streamlining services to sway us,
Does Oz really need such fuss?
We're walking on the winning side,
Let's have some more Hi-fives!
Debates due to direction,
Teen brain selfie obsessions,
These are our politicians,
It's a short, amusing ride,
Someone pass vicarious pesticide!!!

Garbology

Yes, in Oz they've called an election,
PR on media heading in our direction,
Bland and blander for our selection,
Do they sell their souls for superannuation?
Politicians are deemed to be public servants,
By the plebs, for the plebs, now observant,
For the benefit of the plebs, in Australia,
Is being forced to vote a failure?
No such thing as a Western Liberal Democracy,
Prepare for BS for you and me,
Largely unfundable policies,
Today is Day One of Garbology!
