Jeff Mara’s* You Tube podcast,
has this soul search question asked;
after we die, what comes next,
for truly, most are perplexed.

Indeed, very few return,
for the hand of death is stern
but this fact we now do know ~
eternal seems our life’s flow.

Eben Alexander’s* case,
gets to the point, cuts to chase,
and Anita Moorjani*
described heaven’s scenery.

After death, our life review
plays out before us anew,
where we see both smiles and tears,
desires nurtured and our fears.

There’s no judgment yet we know
that we’ve a long way to go
before we’re love enabled,
with no ego urge tabled.

All being love, there’s no force
but overcome by remorse,
we return to make amends,
that love ensconced, soul ascends.

Summarised, the truth is this:
existence, consciousness, bliss,
represents our soul essence;
our innate luminescence.

Identity

My mind and its complexity,
is summarised by what is "me",
the body lying on the bed,
inconsequential, feet of lead,

The strength and pleasure it provides
diminishes in times reside
but all of this can overcome
if mind’s unbound and free to run.

So take the logic I project
and even if your circumspect
if that free mind is truly "me"
expression’s my identity

Little Son

Atisa Nicholas
Little son

my hands were too short to reach out far
legs summarised to throw long strides
eyes too small to see wide
with a pure heart to bare sins
then I grew;
have you sitted on my laps
straightening you in a clear path
to leave you a man on this earth
you remember,
what I said at your birth
'you will be great among the great'
I meant it never despaired
you my only, one I inspired
a sunny day to you I aspired
its time!-it hasn't expired
this big world is yours,
me I'll soon be retired
do always good, never get tired
you are a Christian not a triad
pray to GOD to show you his gold
all belong to him am told
get good friends and a better future mould
fight, fight! always fight like a lion bold
now, tomorrow till you are old
then in all corners you'll have your legacy sold
..........my son my son my son...
do as I said and my little son,
you'll shine like that huge sun
