When death becomes a living thing
A clawing, unseen, weepy touch
A spreading stain of seeping fear
A pall draped o’er the light of day
When death becomes the present tense
When muted voices must redress
Old words, like flowers, curled and mute
To free themselves from sorrow’s lie
When living death subverts its role
Its cape and scythe gone strangely still
A coldness of the soul is held
When death becomes a living thing

Harbor Forgiveness
His uproar was clear and overt
damage our love in one spurt
wreck Twenty-Ninteen (2019) “Home Port” chert
My soul is deeply deeply burnt
Pure kindhearted intent converts
to mistrust dreadful disconcert
mom, dad overly protection subverts
son’s golden career –- ugly divert
Three against one was no flirt
Cruel heartbreak alone in desert
Heal my ache in bitter dim yurt
I’d rather curse pain than hurt
Why is it, when my heart is hurt
I’d give a sigh of high alert
Will our gentle courtship be revert?
Self-healing must reassert
Again, again forgive to unhurt
Harbor forgiveness free the hurt

Not lying outright
is far from the truth
Hesitance vacuous
barren of fruit
What never gets said
deceitfulness hides
Stalking and preying
while buried inside
The pulpit a soapbox
lectern a mask
Pontification
deceptions bombast
Wittingly fervent
the devil subverts
False implication
—the ultimate hurt

Has life ever been cheaper,
When doubting God grows steeper?
Love without justice perverts.
Justice sans morals subverts.
Despite the evil scheming,
God's spiritual streaming.
Doubt your doubts about the Lord.
Confessing them brings reward.
His past acts need reflection.
Remembrance foils defection.
His Providence revealing,
God's spiritual streaming.
So, wait for the end of it-
His faithfulness will acquit.
Remember, He's powerful,
Gathering up baskets full,
After thousands done feeding,
God's spiritual streaming.
Let the fools think they have won,
When God has only begun.
The wicked need to think twice,
Boasting about our demise.
Trusting Him is redeeming,
God's spiritual streaming.
When all has been said and done,
The Warrior-God, His Son,
Fulfills the Davidic reign,
And godliness is great gain.
All bow the knee esteeming,
God's spiritual streaming.

Just to be free
I will take a chance,
Without a backward glance
To close the door and lose the key
That has been too oft used
To unlock memories better lost in the sea
Of forgetfulness.
Just to be unbruised
From a lifetime of hurt
And from all the recorded grooves
Played and replayed like a concert
That never improves and always subverts
Any chance of happiness,
Or at least a peaceful armistice.

Poetry is intended for restlessness,
too much sweetness drives away poetry...
You can be pregnant with ideas,
stocked with what is benefit and write
emotionally without stoppage,
but the unusual metaphor is missing...
to the one that outlines the poetry...
Behold, the singing of joyful countries
it's sad...
The singing of sad countries is content...
There then lies the poetry that reflects
what the soul does not sight...
Poetry is not sympathetic text
in pretty words that appear
always full of emotions... and with
melodramatic sweetness... lack the
high-sounding that the Greeks call Beauty,
when the imagery that materializes the mystery is lacking,
only through metaphor or metonymy,
it subverts the original meaning,
gaining in breadth and beauty...
That and poem with poetry...
The word has to come dressed as a party
the poetry is dressed in the real fantasy
that the figure of speech contains...
Poetry is immaterial...!

Confetti dreams floating away
An innocence again is crushed
Under the weight of the fall
Countdowns to unconsciousness
Filled in flutes of sorrow
As the masses mimic cheer
Confessions secretly stored
Under wraps of indesgression
Carried out the door
Self inflicted suffrage
Abandons another war
Anxious the path's unearthed
Repentant intemperance subverts

COPLA CINCUENTA Y TRES: This Bad Guy World
People see what they love to see
All that glitters makes them feel bright:
Tip sinking boat
Right now ball craze all films of glee
World of adverts subverts the sight:
Salesmen sail moat
A young woman stands at street door
Dazed by drugs an oozing sex pot:
Short years hence hag
Suckling aids milk son of whore
Whose mind will unhinge smoking pot:
Jet lag lost bag

Pretty Love
Kind touches
Sugar Hello’s
Melodic kisses
Swift feet that run towards peace
Ears that hear that the innocent ones have been released
Eyes that see the goodness in increase
Arms that reach out to embrace and greet
Handsome hearts
Gorgeous souls
Two minds have met
That has made a whole
Lovely is their morning song
Kindness subverts all wrong
How long is long
Forever and a day

FATAL ATTRACTION
-------------------------
His lucent light illumines her eyes
His face outshines the sun
His ethereal beauty unveils the skies
Her vibrant vision swiftly succumbs
Her silenced tongue, his intimate touch
His intangible hands sliding/slithering
Spiraling down with a gentle glide
Her body cold and shivering
His fiery eyes ignite a flame
Her attention he gains as she stares
Their lips entwine, his blissful rapture
Devours her heart from cares
Encapsulated, she can't escape
He clutches her in his arms
Her safe haven, her wedded love
His pearl preserved from harm
Her beating heart, a decelerate speed
Her aperture devoid of breath
His succulent waters drown her tongue
Compelling her closer to death
Solitary seclusion, her world in diffusion
Subverts her mind, subtracts her understanding
He gains her trust, thrusting utter confusion
Rest assuring her of a safe landing
She drowns herself to ceaseless sleep
In his grasp from detouring distractions
At her beauteous site, he rejoices and weeps
Absorbed in her FATAL ATTRACTION

Once I had a girlfriend and ex-wife.
Two ladies at the same time in life,
Mistake I made this day.
Not proud in anyway.
First mistake, second retake in strife,
Girlfriend I gave flowers for the day.
Ex-wife and I married, oui evay,
Messed up my life again,
Not knowing where I’d been.
Girlfriend forlorn, wrong card I did play.
Ex-wife left me, I got just deserts.
Got what I deserved for all my flirts.
Valentine’s Day, bad karma,
Cupid dealt me, my dharma,
Disengaging me of all subverts.

The dragon reptile in fairy wings holds you to his captured whim,
Lewd curves please and torment your body in fantasy desire.
Enslavement mementos on hands and feet as pure seduction:
He grovels to fang strikes should you choose to disobeyed his command.
Bound to the joy and sorrow of the taboo genetic order,
You yield in frustrations of traditional uncontrolled anger.
DNA freak restricted to be cloned subverts nature’s equilibrium,
Crossing over to the human gnome will end the Eden theory.
Eve, you shall always be tempted by the devil to ostracize man;
Beware this serpent’s satanic wish to replace the true Adam.

Death will not measure
the height,
from which we fall.
Not being,
the psyche of primeval fear
finds its conscience –
subverts the softness
of moon-eyed life
with wealth of green blood
in brown bread.
And the white candle
burns at night
to send aurora borealis
in blue irises.
