retaining vibrancy
in the looming lull
infusing in the void
bliss effervescence
essence of presence
seeks no applause
from field of oneness
with which entwined
sense of separation
from entire existence
that once was, ends
animated aloneness
sublimates loneliness

In the devastating deluge of sorrow river,
swept by the agony current the senses quiver.
Perceptive awareness faculty sinks within deep,
awakens the quintessence so long asleep.
From the consuming entity of trinity of being,
if the mind-body dualism disappears unseeking,
when the distant bells relentlessly toll,
released devout soul hears the heavenly call.
As the synphony of the silenced life ends,
the fading tune with the melody of soul blends.
Suffused with the sound of aum serene,
sonorous solitude in sublime space it can glean.
Devoid of the body and acquired intelligence,
the liberated soul sublimates from existence,
reaches the realm of eternity to realign
with the universal consciousness divine.

All that's gone and all that's left
in the candy inventory, of illusions
what still sublimates me...
The shadow of dreams, at parties
scenery of memories, seasons... !
that I lived...!

When I smile,
I write poetry...
when i cry,
also...
In laughter or crying
poetry sublimates us
in light or shadow

The Thought Process
David J Walker
I never thought it would be like this
I never thought it would be
I never thought
Much
About much at all
I never thought Life
would ever stop
I never thought about it
Coming to an end
And getting off
This uncomfortable passenger bus
That brought us
And dropped us off
At a greasy spoon diner that double
As a post office with no boxes
And a one-street town with
One eternal yellow traffic light
perpetually blinking
caution
caution
caution
When we were looking for
Passion
passion
passion
In Efficacious Fashion
That sublimates the scenery
As it passes
From town to
dissolute town
I never thought it would be like this
I never thought it would be
I never thought about us
Coming and going
One by one
As the day is done for
Another son
of the 20th century
Who ran the gauntlet beside us

When it takes me
this "poetry" state
feeling in the words
all crucial perception ...
When I write heart,
the whole cosmos throbs
as if the universe comes to me
to play chime ...
When sweet words
are pronounced in speech
or in writing ... a tenderness
intense sublimates me with
overwhelming emotion ...
I feel the music that
word emanates ... every word
an original song every time
tha is urged ...
The perfume that enchants
of every word that emerges ...
It is a divine state
when poetry this way
blooms ... And
at these times the poet
sings, laughs, cries ...!

Our history was written by the victors
Of holy wars from long ago;
The sacred texts, the monuments, the scriptures
The paths that lead us, tied upon the hand.
"Lift up your eyes, rejoice" they say
"Salvation is at hand!"
Deliverance is near enough
Just not when you had planned.
A blinding light that hides the scars and
Sublimates the whispers may
Give comfort to the weary.
Myopia is, at it’s best,
A way to see more clearly.
To heal the wounds and make our peace
With things we can’t control.
But truth is not a catchphrase
And the myths will take their toll.

THE NATURE OF TRUTH
Broken fullness, in finished fragments instantly incarnate falls upon the mirror of the human heart, truth entire and absolute living fills as a hand in glove, clear, succinct consistent,by this God of love.
It covers and commands the finite over which it bends,the amplest and clearest, highest spoken to man. This ideal once of man and of God.A manual of worship sublimates the springs of hope and joy,charms heart and imagination in Christ, our predestination.

The Thunder,
it's nature praying in fury ...
The moon,
it is beauty that inspires tenderness ...
The sun,
it is the light that turns and warms life ...
Planet,
it's the spinning ball we live in ...
The sky ,
it is the halo domed that sublimates us ...
Love,
is what makes life live in joy ...
Life,
It is the divine gift that nature
Divine gives us gracefully ...!

You have
the plasticity of beauty
and the detail of enchantment
that touches who looks at you and sees...
Effluent Waves of Rare Perfumes
that sprinkles loving odors you cast ...
We feel convulsing apropos you
in sensations that sublimates glances ...
Everyone submits to yours
spells ...
You have the power to suspend stars
to adorn the sky of your passions.
You have a way of throwing dew on the flowers
to build the purest garden
of love...
You are a gift that is tender in us.
and in me that love you ...
Your absence still
contents me ... your presence
delights me !

Night flings surreal
Erotic splurge;
Sexy contours
~~~~~~~~
Dreams from afar
Come down to earth;
Mystic magic
~~~~~~~~~
Touch of linen
Soft pillow talk;
Two souls embrace
~~~~~~~~~
Love wears a look
Sublimely profound;
Words fall away
~~~~~~~~~
Two lovers breathe
Splendour speaks;
Masks fall away
~~~~~~~~~
Two bodies merge
Twin flames ascend;
A bond of one
~~~~~~~~~
Who feels the surge
Merge of ecstasy;
Surreal passion
~~~~~~~~~
Glimpse beyond
Common boundaries;
Emerge beyond sense
~~~~~~~~~
Know discrete gap
Sex sublimates;
Deeper mystery
~~~~~~~~~
Cross the unknown
Transfigured now;
Know beyond knowing
~~~~~~~~~
Terra firma here
Bliss of ecstasy;
What else exists?
~~~~~~~~~
God is so wise
To simply fit;
Wisdom knows bliss
~~~~~~~~~
Two separate parts
Join in one flesh;
Yin-Yang and Tao
~~~~~~~~~
To know God
Love your lover;
Accept the gift
~~~~~~~~~
In one sure fling
The moment springs;
Now is forever

Why write poetry?
Someone asked again;
Why breathe?
~~~~~~~~~
Snail sliding slowly
Grass verge camouflage;
Morning psalm
~~~~~~~~~
Morning crowd
Busy feet congregate;
Fiddle with cellphones
~~~~~~~~~
Downtown office complex
Rush hour traffic;
Urgent commotion
~~~~~~~~~
Food court terrestrials
Sea of hungry faces;
No place to sit
~~~~~~~~~
Work day blues
So much for so little;
Make ends meet
~~~~~~~~~
Modern day woes
So little time,
So much to do
~~~~~~~~~
Healthy constellations
Mötley yoga class;
Fitness sublimates
~~~~~~~~~
Morning newspapers
Friday through Sunday;
Terminal indigestion
~~~~~~~~~
Words in a rhyme
Lost in a thought;
Inconsequential
~~~~~~~~~
Only crazy people write
Wasted resources;
Sober conclusion
~~~~~~~~~
Just yesterday
We laughed about life;
Now you are gone
Plain and simple
Conversations;
Brief haunting echoes
Words and gestures
In another time;
Ghostly murmurs linger
Grief is a thief
Stealing precious time;
Wonder stands still
No pain can dilute
Joy lives sublime;
Love transcends death
When death comes
To fracture time;
Each floats to heaven
Here and now I
Sense a boundary;
Stuff that sublimates
Seems like yesterday
Sandwiches today;
Tomorrow just follows
Earthly time and space
Finite symbols sign;
Eternity awakening
Bordering the brink
Here for a mere wink;
Rapture yet re-claims
Simple conversations
Waiting on the wind;
Echoes continue
