Believe me, friends, if you write in these
Romance languages, you’ll be
Happy to enjoy writing. I love these
Languages. I entertain the idea
Of knowing at least one word
Of the other languages of the world
I love words of all languages
Throughout the ages
Leave a few funny comments
I know what you’re going to say, my friends
It’s always a pleasure hearing from you
I love you will all my heart, I love you
Eske nou tout konprann?
Do you all understand?

Premium MemberNib In Hand

words written in graphite

eraser in hand but the pencil is sharp

traces leave their mark and point to the truth

ink from a deep fountain

smudged by a wandering quill

inches forward on paper thin canvass

invisible imprints

scripted from a fanciful mind

empties hesitation and impressionable doubts

stylo-graphed images

peruse fleeting sculptures

transcend illusions of permanence

an empty page

demands representation

ready to receive uncensored flow

those random
           thoughts
long lines or short

one after the other
after the other
after the other
after the other
then stop at the end

what form is this
I wonder

pick free verse
    I suppose

and send

   well really

Premium MemberDeath of Cheri

Dances with us all
			last tango
Louisiana hospitality
		alligators eating dreams
Lost a poet
			the boat upstream
Heart beat with so much love
tear drops fall on poets stylo
I am so lost
			in mist filled dreams
She called me Cheri
on my knees I must scream
Southern grace so rare to find
		charming
her poetry from the wishing well
			  mixed with purple rain
She is missing.... gone
		the rest of us
Still mortals insane

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

I cry... scream..... pull out hair

Cheri tell me............. tell me….. god tell me

Speak, say I had some flair................

noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

leave not the sound of dead air…………

Lautrec, Please Draw

Toulouse, oh please do place a hand on me
Your pen will sketch what your eyes can see
The ladies’ legs as they dance the can-can
Make me feel like more than a napkin
