Premium MemberHoot Owl Saved You

sickly stickly thickly tree
No one to strike you down
Axes about but no woodcutters
And me with a sore finger

You are unsightly in my garden
an ugly renegade tree
I tried to rid myself of you last year
Yet here you are stronger than ever

An owl hoot begs me for mercy on your behalf
Lucky for you Native American ancestors have just saved you
Maybe next year I will chop you down; this year you are safe.
Thanks to the love of the Wyandotte who used to traipse this land.

Stickly Glue

I don't want you right now
I'm not trying to be mean
I just want to do this myself, you see
I want to pick up my pieces all by myself
Glue myself together, without your help
I'm afraid of glue getting on your hands
Your pieces will stick to my pieces
That just won't do
If you or I pull too hard, we will become unglued
I will be put together, but your pieces will stick
Then you will be broken and I will not be me

July

I am the smell of firer crackers in the air, the silent hum of hot summer nights.
I am the children's laughter and teenagers sighs and moans.
I am the parnet's worries, i'm late night kisses; stickly wet.
I am the splash of cold crisp water drenching your hot body.
I am the beautiful bright burst of color spraying over the night sky.
I am the bed you long for.
I am the warm air in your hair.
I am the star sky.
I am warm, friendly, sensual, July.

No Mas

Your the devil in a dress;
                                  stickly sweet sin.
I love the sound of your voice, the light feeling i get.
Your a rush, just like a drug, racing threw my veins.
I get high, oh so very high. I swear i could fly!
But your pain fills me like a syringe; feeling my chest with
blackness and turning my heart to ash.
I am nothing more , nothing less. I am so lost within you. How can i find my
way out?
