Poetic Theraphy

Since birth,
 my body has been
 a battlefield,
 mined by firecrackers
 of unequal feelings...
 I treat my wounds,
 since time immemorial...
I live in a state of war,
Permanently...
I survive because I only live as
Inwardly carry my life as I live,
even within this chaos,
 external world...
    Against This catatonic dystonia,
 heals and relieves me, poetry...
 Poetry gives me refuge
 and this peace...!

Strangers

We who meet as strangers, sharing a moment in time
A glance of the eyes, a kind word, or a nod of a respectful sign
Passing with hardly a notice, chasing life’s busy protocol
And if not for cause or chance, it really wouldn’t matter at all

Two lives find each other while longing to discover the prize
Feelings that deny understanding with stars in flashing eyes
Love, that perfect strangers find from the light in a smile
Rings of gold join two lives, a match that’s so worth while

From all corners of the world where battles for blood are fought
Soldiers march in a state of war to stem a great onslaught
Strangers’ face-off with terrible cost without ever knowing a name
Smashing with violent indifference and a stranger’s life is clamed

A stranger can be the greatest friend worth more than the purest gold
When a tragedy is held in check, amid tribulation’s gripping hold
And in a time of immense distress, a stranger’s arms draw you near
Encouraging words are whispered; and quiets the greatest fear

Coronavirus

Coronavirus

our air is fouled
so full of these deaths, and
cries of help and agony
all across the globe

there’s loud gray’s elegy, of
sun turning inducing death gray, leaving
more weeping, all weeping, for
the land is coronavirused!

and the day soured
with fleeting fire of disease, spreading
fear across the globe, many trembled
shivered and died, and our humour no more!

oh what a deadly gift
of this century
so sour and bitter, as
mankind dies by seconds

all glares
black, brown or white, as
death blooms on and on to the rooftop
and our fears sweep across the globe

this sun shines out death
and no respected of status, poor-rich alike
an unsmiling season of death we are
is it to blot out order and extinguish lights?

a state of war
mankind is in
war with an unkind disease
invading our space

but then
the hope, our hope
to stay at home
and to socially distance
our mankind

old rules to go
for us to survive this killing disease
and for nature to methodized
and social distancing to live

any hope
for mankind to survive
lots of hope, there is
earth heal thyself, we pray.

Folding the Crease

Folding The Crease

Two ideas we do decree,
Heads or Tails, Steam or Sails.
Black or White, Dim or Bright.
Do we not allow, an option ‘C’?

Two just fits our life of rhythms,
Out or In, Her or Him.
Left or Right, Loose or Tight.
But we need more, for life’s tough decisions.

Binary choices seem quite clear,
But look beyond
The detail here.
That random devil just
Sits by deepest blue.
While a rock and a hard place,
These await for you.

War and Peace follow no rules.
Lifelines run
On random spools.
Some know War,
Some know Peace.
Somewhere between these two, lies that crease
That oh so easily, folds us into state of War,
Or allows us to unashamedly bask,
In that Peace, we should not ignore.

Be Like Water

Be like water

Be like water
And of its form as pool
In the state of anger

Be like water
And of its form as steam
In the state of war

Be like water
And of its form as waves
In the state of dance

Be like water
And of its form as rivers
In the state of life

Be like water
And of its form as tears
In the state of love

Be like water
And like its nature to live
Like a noble philosopher

Your Love

The first time I beheld your being, I felt that creation helded, its breath.

Without peace of mind you are in a constant state of war within.

With your tongue, you murder your brothers, sisters,, complete strangers,

And then the innocent, as you allow the guilty to go free.

You go to war with your own heart! Yet we pursue love, or and lust,

with a tenacity and then we declare a cease-fire, that has only one truth.

It blinds us to such a depth, that the cease-fire fails.

50 Trillion Cells

50 TRILLION CELLS

50 trillion cells,

I hold within my skin

And I am the governor

As to what state they’re in

Like fractals they are mini me’s

They have my every function

What I think and how I feel

They act on that assumption

My very own community

That I am in control

I’ll guide my little worrier cells

With my heart and with my soul

You see, what ever thoughts I hold

My cells react, and do exactly as they’re told

If my mind is in a state of war

My cells react and fight the more

But when I’m thinking with a loving heart

My cells will act and play that part

Man is master of his thoughts

Yes you are in control

What you’re thinking to be true

Makes you up as a whole

Your environment causes your perceptions

What is it that you’re seeing?

If it’s not good, change it now

And you will change your very being

Let love, happiness, health and wealth

Dominate every thought

And every single cell in you

Will act exactly as they ought!

50 trillion cells in you

Awaiting your command

Govern wise my friend believe

And reach your promised land!!!
