Oh 'Santa's Gift' attack,
A Greenland-based hacking group,
Bypassing input sanitation,
Root access to your cloud will soon be scooped.
Privacy and security advocates,
Fighting to eliminate cookies,
Rethinking their Bits,
As an overflowing stack of cookies is the key.
The drive to automate,
Middle management eliminated,
But with trouble following policy,
How much worse will it be if we're cheated?
In 2023, fraudsters will abound,
Spoofing biometrics, fraudulent documents, synthetic identities found,
Bot vs. bot, good vs. bad,
The bots with the best AI will surely be glad.
A person with no knowledge,
May create a destructive worm,
Almost a trillion dollars in damage,
It's almost a certainty, the damage to be born.
Hackers using ChatGPT,
Multilingual communications with unsuspecting users,
Difficult to recognize,
The damage this technology will cause is almost a certainty, no excuse.
I'm not scared of ChatGPT,
I'm scared of its children and grandchildren,
2023, the year of the bot,
Good vs. bad, who will win?

It pains me to confess the unadulterated truth,
Once I strung together some distantly related words
[and by that, I mean “really” distantly related, too!]
And, tongue-in-cheek, submitted to a poetry contest
Which, surprisingly, I won … First Place!
Feeling rather badly about my obnoxious behavior
Which was rewarded so bountifully with applause
I tried to convince the sponsor I was only spoofing,
I was trying to make a point [no one wanted made]
Surprisingly, I got a note … of thanks!
Feeling even worse, I decided to decline the prize.
I wanted to do the right thing, in my way of thinking,
So, I tore up the sponsor’s check and threw it away
I wrote telling them what I had done, and I got
Surprisingly, another check … with thanks!
By now, I was completely over the whole situation
Which began with my twisted way of making a point
So, I cashed the check and spent the prize money,
And winding up the matter with a generous gesture,
Surprisingly, I sent them a note … “Thanks!”

Farcical characters of ill gestures,
they be no friends of mime
Mute clown suits
wearing viol marionette smiles
all of the puppet string time
I tell you, of a silent truth,
those pretzel-tongue jester troupes
are theatrical buffoons
spoofing on a global would trivial comedy stage
These ol' pantomime hucksters,
dipstick lip syncing on babble timer delay rage —
Crying out loud,
them cold quip cheeky blusters
never were any spoken for friends of mine
Just some dumb glow, dim enemies ...
who always pearly grinned a dumber shine

I'm just cooling
And musing
Below the flooring and above the roofing
Still manuevering and moving
Working hard towards improving
Live a life of your choosing
Focused on what I'm doing
Got to get it, can't continue snoozing
While there is and isn't booming
Whether win draw or losing
Before and after what is ensuing
Regardless of if it may be confusing
Quickly fuming
Often stooping
To such a low level, then snooping
People feuding
And dueling
Over petty things, continually adding fueling
To the fire, while ridiculing
Among objects that may or may not be protruding
Near and far from lifeforms and items by themselves or in a tight-knit grouping
At a rapid pace, spewing
It's all bad when it comes to polluting
Always stirring up the pot, and tooting
Your own horn, while assuming
Because you want to see another's undoing
Shame on those that continue spoofing
And fooling
As well as those that did or are planning a mass shooting
There's just no excusing
Such horrendous actions, regardless of it involved drug abusing
And heavy duty boozing
