Chuck
There once was a show named “Chuck”
It didn’t have much luck
After five seasons it was gone
Oh it felt so wrong
For Chuck was about a nerd
Who ran with the herd
A fun loving guy in a comedy no less
Always making life a mess
Each episode an adventure or a quest
Making it fun to watch as a guest
It had all the right things
Even a girl with “talent” it brings
More bumbling than a bee
He reminded me of me
Sometimes hero and sometimes goat
Made him feel real and not remote
With a sidekick and a crew
Each week your addiction grew
More laughs than a barrel of monkeys
Was the trigger that turned the keys
To my heart
Right from the start
Adieu I say to cast and show
If there is a movie or spinoff let me know.

There's only one emotion that I feel is completely instinctual
spinoff peripheral feelings are thus subservient to that one
and born complex sensual beings, Man pursues its purity
allowing wishes and fantasies to approach fulfillment
fueled by trust, you experience how happiness feels
imbuing courage, it comforts a whimpering child
no other feeling could possibly take its place
it is the first commandment given by God
and as close to heaven as mortals dare
for futures rely on its foundations
to support impossible dreams
quenching an emotional
thirst, it refreshes you
as two morphs into
one bonded by
a feeling
we call
love

OLD PLANET EARTH
our globe balances precariously on its fragile
axis
a space spinoff awaiting weights inevitable
demise
hanging on an abused thread from this universal
life
consuming all resources daily from the inside
out
reflecting slapdash mindless human nature
traits
accountability entrusted from creations
launch
heeding oceans bounty--salient bird-filled
sky
land creatures vast uniqueness in custody
ours
God spoke plainly: prosper, produce, care and take
charge
I made you in My image, protect My planet with
pride
Instead…
we try to outshine the moon
as shooting stars fall in gloom
with tears and blood
with fires and flood
with ignorance and gluttony we turn the last page

double Chaney Lugosi and Karloff
those four are the most known monsters all time
and each monster they portrayed had spinoff
I grew up with those monsters on prime time
my mother saw them in the theatres
I saw them years later on the tv
the Cheneys’ monsters hasn’t been better
today the classic monsters hard to see
those monsters like poetry my fine wine
my mother enjoyed Dracula the most
Abbott and Costello met Frankenstein
all the monsters today are way to gross
Lon didn’t want his son to follow him
the wolfman out lived his father’s phantom
