Oh NO….it’s here
Hope springing eternal
Bringing with it
The plague of pollen
That nose drip
Even a plumber can’t fix
Oh, and MUD…
AND PUDDLES
AND WET DOGS
And those spinny things
Fluttering everywhere
And the birds
Oh those birds, birds, birds, birds, birds
The neverendingchatter
Of those birds, birds, birds, birds, birds
That chitter chatter squawking
The beady eyes a-gawking
Of those birds,
A tree and wire choir
Chirping lower and then higher
Swaying gently in the breeze
The same one that makes me sneeze
Oh spring
When I am inside I adore you
But when outside I deplore you
But you must do your duty
Shake your pollen coated booty
Tempt the bees in invitation
To commence with pollination

Once upon a time
It just got cold and windy.
Now we have felt temperatures
Wind chills
Bombogenesis.
Snow days used to be fun.
NO SCHOOL…..YIPPEE!!!
We would ZOOM down the hills
On whatever would slide
Sleds, plastic “spinny” things,
Occasionally socks
Would replace wet mittens
Plastic bags would go over shoes
To allow easy entry to galoshes.
((Mom’s were magicians back then))
Snowballs were legal.
Snowmen were called….SNOWMEN.
Snow angels caused no controversy.
((Well, truth be told, I made a few snow devils))
((used one of the snowman’s arms for the horns))
For homework….
Tomato soup, Ritz crackers
A blanket and Howdy Doody.
((Damn, am I old))

My funny granny~
My friends seems so spinny!
But you are the most funny.
I like the way you sing,
You do it like a ping;
I like the way you laugh,
You do it like giraffe.
My funny granny~
My friends seems so sunny!
But you are the most funny.
I love the way you wear your hair,
Like Barbie just so nice and fair;
I love the way you cook,
You do it without a recipe book.
My funny granny~
You're the perfect granny!
I love the way you love me.

Ate food at banky linky
But it tasted like stinky stinky
Threw up all over pinky kinky
Went home to slinky hinky
But the bed kept spinny linny

Clouds loll over,
snows cling fast,
and, as the world
tilts,
set to flowing - broadly
treacly; joining
capillaries to veins,
veins to the heart
of this good spinny
Earth.
Clouds loll over,
and ever,
the Sun.
I seek my peak...
in the Valley
below.

The bass and perch are both spinny-finned.
Whereas sand dollars are spiny-skinned.
Sea urchins and starfish are spiny-skinned too.
I love my world book which is totally brand new!

Today I'm being a poet.
~Aparri~
You're red as a tomatoe.
You call us potatoes.
Aparri, I think they're trying to scam me.
Do you really think they can out jam me?
Cat hat.
Scary bat.
I love all of those!
Me and Aparri are secretly bros.
Don't tell his sister.
Oh no. I think we've missed her.
I stole a spike.
Now time to get on my bike.
AJHQ is getting at the scene.
"Julian2's beans!" (SPINNY BOI)
I think I might be in danger.
"I think we need to change her," (AJHQ)
I think I just got banned.
I guess it got out of hand. -Meowno
Ok. So that you know.. I'm not actually a scammer! I wouldn't dream of it. Thanks for reading!

I chanced upon a spinny overgrowth, in which a sole rose had born,
her supple blossom shone like balefire, even against her thorns.
“Come to me” she beckoned, yet the bracken warned with wicked teeth.
The lone hint of ruby in a palette of sepia, ashened against her thorns,
before I suckeled at my finger, and tasted the droplet of red iron
she had painted on me with guilty bite, pricked against her thorns.
At this task I would not falter, straining to grasp, again and again,
flesh and sinew rendered pulp, stripped away against her thorns,
leaving me naked until nothing remained but hope, a simple dream
that one day I may finally lay down to rest against her thorns
