*Note: This is name for a strong, large longhaired cat that is also very sweet. Maybe it's only known about in the USA??

It was a normal Tuesday in Kansas until a quarter to two
A Bengal cat came down on my head, it had big eyes of blue.
A British shorthair came flying by and landed on my knee.
Then a Sphynx and a Ragdoll. What was happening to me?
I looked up into the sky, and guess what I saw, my friend?
It was raining cats today, and it looked like they would never end.
An American Bobtail came down hard and fast. Landed on my foot.
Were they all determined to land on me? Next one as black as soot!
A Maine Coon was trying to stop herself, she landed in a tree.
I had to get a ladder to help her, and she ended up biting me!
An Abyssinian told me off, and a Persian gave me a scratch.
There were five hundred in all, and I was simply not a match.
I called the animal shelter, the fire department and 911.
They thought it was hilarious, came running to look at all this fun.
Sure it is humorous, I said but how many will I have to fix?
The news stations came and filmed it; we were on the news at six.

I’m an Egyptian
And my name is Jedeffrey
I am a Pharaoh
My pyramid’s lost
To Father Time’s shifting sand
And my mummy too
I pray Anubis
Will come and find me and then
I will live again
My body will rise
My pyramid will rise too
Then I will be whole
Body, heart and soul
Then I will wreak my revenge
On all who wronged me
Under a full moon
I will then become the Sphynx
My father’s father
I am become death
I am become the god Seth
Destroyer of worlds
Here in the desert
What goes around comes around
I’m coming for you!

You can be a turtle, a deer, a buffalo, a dog, frog or a sphynx,
But you never know true love until you have fallen for a lynx.
I have a pair of them, and they adore me upside down and inside out.
They give me joy and companionship; they truly make me shout!
You may refer to them as bobcats, if you grew up seeing them this way.
No difference to Hansel and Gretel, they still hunt down their prey.
Their silent padded paws help them hunt with the best of the beast.
When they drag in their carnage, we have a wonderful meat feast!
They were found by me as babies after hunters got their mother.
They are happy with me, and even more happy with each other.
A brother and a sister, they like to prowl and hunt at night.
I sigh a relief when they come home, knowing they’re all right.
They can run fifty miles an hour, faster than most cars on our road.
I like watching them skedaddle, when they are in chase mode.
They like to curl at my feet and listen to stories, and sigh.
And no burglar has ever bothered me. Don’t you wonder why?

I'm the smoothest cat in town
No fur, no fleas just peachy down.
I wear my wrinkly skin with pride
For I’m unique and dignified.
I am a Sphynx cat breed mutation,
A furless, feline aberration,
It’s who I am and I don’t care
If my appearance makes you stare.
For I’m at home in my loose skin
And beauty comes from deep within.
My mistress loves me, I love her;
I warm her lap, she makes me purr!

Many words that were writ in ink
Near and far from the kitchen sink
Where you could hear dishes clink
Here I sit and think
While I sip and drink
Still got many ships to sink
No time to call it quits or blink
Close and away from bits of zinc
Sh** does stink
Got to find the missing link
Without getting distracted by girls giving winks
Never quitting, because eventually it'll sync
Can't let it shrivel and shrink
Staying quick like a lynx
Not stiff like the Sphynx

I met the Sphynx at noon,
"I'm tired," I say, "I'd like a nap."
But first she wanted lunch.
"I've brought nothing, except this bologna wrap!"
Says she, "It's you I'd like to munch."
She chewed on my knees,
And now they're both sore.
She rended my heart, but choked.
"Too big," said she, but still wanted more,
My back she therefore poked.
Now here I am, the creature at noon
On legs two I walk
My knees being lame
Her invite to tea I balk
Simply I say, "I've a nap to claim."
