In absolute calm
asleep is the silence
invisible...
In the garden next to me,
guarded by roses and dahlias
we rejoice
the two of us, the day and me
in our tiny kingdom....
Groping solicitously keyboard, i
write and describe
the phenomenal beauty
shared with my soul
enraptured, in inspiration
breathed by spirits
of ancient poets.... !

I was preparing a blue-berry cake for supper,
Foaming it saw some spinning rings on the syrupy mixture
It reminded me of the sequence of cosmos;
As the planets spin on their ever homely compass
The sugar, flour, soda and the eggs
Circling still inside my food processor.
I ogle and solicitously imagine,
If I’m thrown away at space with such a whirl,
Shall I swivel in the infinity?
Or-shall I be smashed; otherwise, be crushed by the aliens?
The space scientist would better answer it,
My data is limited, to me, all these are worthless, I never know;
I just know how to mingle the mixture of a cake,
I’m a poor mixture machine operator.

As I solicitously walk the busy streets of the densely peopled city,
My eyes dart in a restless fashion as I survey the urban surrounds –
Shaking the hands of the occasional acquaintance or classmate,
Maybe some neighbor from home in the city to do official rounds.
Yet my mind cannot be occupied by the buzzing activity all around.
I can’t help thinking of Suzie and the graces she brings to my arid heart,
The smile she has brought to this solemn face that had dismissed love
As a cheap frivolity, and sought refuge in the satisfactions of superior art.
Suzie’s honest love has ruled my thoughts and chained my mind
To the rare sweet memories that so tightly tie, and so blindly bind.

I shared my florid words
about our torrid love
with an ardent lover,
who exclaimed propitiously
that they were astonishing;
then solicitously,
she asked me to elucidate,
how did this prestidigitation occur;
from whence did I extricate
these words of exultation,
these harmonic chords of verbiage,
that resonated so intimately
with her psyche.
When the real question is:
how did they find me?
