Tell me, do you feel anything ?
I believe you do.
But you possess the sleight of hand
to put up a wall.
And I, feel like a fool
without any professional magic
to protect me,
and I always helplessly fall.

2+2 is 4
You’re part way in
you’re part way out
half full till something more
The middle of the center
the jesters
hidden lore
Dimension plays
one last charade
—to even up the score
(Dreamsleep: October, 2022)
The magician pulls
a beautiful white rabbit
out of a black hat.
There are girls whose arms flow and those whose legs grow
Shorter or longer than others.
With elbows and knees that nobody sees,
That are very much like their mothers,
They worry of feet that no one will see
Refusing to show them uncovered.
Wear outfits with shoes, revealing no clues
So their faults may remain undiscovered.
There are girls with hair all shiny and bright,
Who drink in small sips and are so lady-like;
They worry of wrinkles and things out of place
Cover with makeup the shame on their face.
Not worthy, they think, they must carry the blame
Not knowing the truth, that we all are the same.
Girls who don’t know what it means to be seen,
Through the Truth of our eyes; not as goddess or queen,
But as people of worth: a real human being.
Arose a man of might and sleight
From the Russian heartland
He gives the world quite a fright
His name: Vladimir Putin
First he conquered Georgia
Then he took Crimea
He's a foothold in Iran and Syria
Soon he'll have Venezuela
He charmed the pants off Mr. Bush
Obama fell hard for him too
He's very close with Donald Trump
He'll lure the next President too
What's he after, you may ask
Is it world domination
The West doesn't know what he wants
~ His strategy is flirtation
Trailing off the desperate landfills of narrow fascination
Into my very own lesser known hallowed affirmation—
I wind mine through the wind in the air of my own air—
Should you happen to blow by; I’ll sail upon your prayer.
Tears for the years
without care
waving goodbye
to the no one there
alms for the poor
who need them no more
because nobody sees
how happy they be
although life is seldom fair
I give to the rich
because they need it
their greed cannot be matched
and if they achieve
half of what I believe
they must start from scratch
Once I was bruised
now that's old news
I don't mind the pain
once I was loved
it wasn't enough
to ever take chance again
Now I am
once more within
grasp of what dreams
are made of
that is for sure
down to the core
the things that seem
to shape us
When all dreams are shattered
and nothing else matters
please take the gun from my hand
for I am afraid of just what may
take me off the pillar of man
Then I shall fall
way down below
where no one wants to be
into the abyss
of unknown nothingness
will I really be ceased to exist?
