Line of inquiry:
truth imbibed
awaits assimilation
we feel it in our bones
in time dissolved meditation
Quote by Unseeking Seeker
Merging, blending, assimilating life's truth,
fusing it into my spirit, absorbing;
this the way of my inner mind in mused youth,
that thinking like brittle bones decomposing.
And then, I found pondering meditation,
falling into a profound reverie trance;
in sleeplike states finding my re-creation,
oh, it was a swaying, divine, sublime dance.
My thinking began to scatter and detach,
I needed to find my glowing inner light;
and in contemplation came a light unmatched,
I soak it up ... drinking this beautiful sight.

The wind, careless in its airy freedom,
Feverishly furrows the prairie grass.
With a cry like a lost spirit, it winds
And wails through leafless trees and toothless fence
To vent its eager force upon the boards
Of a lonely, weather-beaten farmhouse.
Afternoon sun shines ashen and mottled,
In slim slanting shafts, through a smoky pane,
Opaquely painting a penumbral room.
Dust motes dance before an empty stone hearth.
A man, like a silent sentinel, sits
Dreamless, and loveless, between the bare walls.
Wearily wringing his wrinkled thin hands,
He sloughs his solitary years away,
Staring sleeplike out an open screen door
Where stands a windmill, in still-life, framed.
Tumbleweeds pile against the west house wall;
And a plough lies broken in drifted sand.

The wind blow carried me away
To a valley, where silence dwelt,
In sleeplike calm, I waited the day
Love would also be carried astray.
He will arrange his arrows and bow
Beside the rose tree where I lay
And listening to a melody low
He would replace the sun’s glow.
I would wake up but with my lips
Dried because he declined me a kiss,
Beneath the hill where night sleeps
To a new dawn, hear the star’s gossips:
Love rather be bounded by a chain
Than keep wandering freely in vain.

The path we had taken together
Full of stones and thorns
Each step was hard and arduous
But my feet never felt the worn
Round the corner the road turned smooth
And then I wished to rest a while
You prodded me to move on
Lest darkness cast its vile
Now as the day grows bright
My tired limbs cry for rest
I know time is short
And you desire to reach your nest
I go through immense pain
Failing to keep up with you
But my heart feels burdened
To be hurdle in your pursuit
I try to be strong
And match each step with you
My love for you the only beacon
That will guide me through
And when we reach your dream
I will lay my head on your chest
Your strong arms around me
Letting me sleeplike a baby my life rest

Crystallized stardust sparkling eyes
dreams drift trancelike from the sky
millenia pass in a single blink
sleeplike slumber constant wink
Galaxy's spiral whirl of order
womb of the universe breathes it's ardor
from no-thing to something,infinity rings
Angel's of heaven in song they sing
In unison beauty synching sound
as grandfather time toll it's bells
natural mechanics gracefully found
instruments vibrate within' the shell
Soul of the whole in perfect harmony
matrix of life our eventual matrimony.....
