Airborne chameleons
in the snow-blown morning:
dull white, grey gulls flying,
silently disappear
against dull white, grey clouds.

Beams of sunlight melt frozen flakes of snow,
and drop by drop; Winter trickles away.
And soon snowdrops spontaneously show,
impatient for Spring to warm up the day.
Winter disappears like a phantom ghost
as icicles start dripping from the eaves.
And yellow Daffodils, Nature's signposts,
guide Spring in, unfurling emerald leaves.
Spring exudes the odor of life's rebirth;
subtle, it lingers sweetly on one's breath.
For it's the fresh fragrance of Mother Earth;
the scent of resurrecting life from death.
Budding trees are gifts of an early Spring,
morphing into a million shades of green.
And it's a treasure She's eager to bring,
summoning flowers to color the scene.

The streak of grey hairs,
a tell tale sign,
A reminder of many
seasons,
Come and gone.
A signpost of phases and
changes.
The voice, an alter ego;
Pubic hairs and mammary
endowments;
A signpost of the changes of
many moons
gone past.
The full bust of a woman,
In the prime of life,
Like the Sunflower poised,
to the Sun in obeisance;
But only at noon day,
does the zenith of it's glory glow.
A signpost of the times.
The loins of a teenager,
Brazen with absurdities',
A signpost of the seasons
of development.
The cycle of life turns full circle.
