Sung By Puglia

ono una ruota che gira sempre
senza una destinazione o un rullo

Sono una trottola che gira sempre
che gira finché non mi fermo
Signore, cosa devo fare?
Allora cosa devo fare?
I miei mondi in un vortice
Dammi amore o speranza
Solo una cosa a cui aggrapparmi
Mi fai girare in tondo
Ohh in giro
E in giro vado
Sono legato a te
Per te
Ohh, ooh, ohh
Sono un orologio senza volto
Con speranze senza tempo
Che non si fermano mai
Signore, quando mi sento così
Tu conosci la mia anima in cambio

una piccola cosa a cui aggrapparsi, ah
mi hai fatto girare in tondo

"Gesù, sei stupendo nella tua bellezza
Padre Dio, amore del tuo Creatore!
A Dio sii la gloria, abbiamo sempre e sempre bisogno di te

"Padre Dio, sono la tua poesia e sono ben scritto!
Dio sei sempre il sole e la mia promessa
Sei arcobaleni che escono dall'alba e dall'orizzonte
Dio ti benedica, splendore

"Dio sa chi sei in questo universo e chi siamo.
Questo è ricco in questa spiritualità. Dio tu e canterò come un uccello e vola.

Nebula Askew

If I were
an astronomer,
a follower of Papa
Galileo through
th'expanding years,
I should be
less confounded by
that vortex
in the sky
first spotted
when a learned bro
peeked through
his viewing lens.

"Our home"
he said, "is bigger
than we thought!"
and thus he kicked
the boot of Italy
into a cosmic ocean
where galactic islands drift,

defying that old wader
of its terra,
no longer firm-a
("oh, let's asee my fren;
we play da words,
I mean, da Medi-terra-neans")
Yes, I know signore, those
who think longingly
about their home upon
the ground beneath.

But there it is,
a starry nebulum
that just will not behave
as science thought it should.
And so she floats
albeit saucilly
with starry hands
on cosmic hips,
"Just where"
she wants to know,
"is a galaxy
to go?"

Premium MemberChris Columbus

Signore Christopher Columbus came up with a wacky notion!

He claimed he could reach India by sailing west across the Atlantic Ocean!

"Just think of all them spices and gold! We ain't got nothin' to lose!"

Queen Isabella thought him nuts but reluctantly funded the cruise!

LT COLONEL CUSTER

Arrogant Custer thought he was the greatest thing since the invention of dynamite!
He took on Sitting Bull who outnumbered him two to one which wasn't very bright.
He led the Seventh Cavalry to disaster ne'er to answer another morning roll call!
'Yellow Hair' proved that old Biblical admonition, "Pride goeth before the fall!"

MOSES

Moses led the Israelites up out of Egypt through the desert to the Promised Land.
He hesitated but God roared, "You the man, Mo!" placing a magic staff in his hand!
So Moses with resolute stride led the Israelites to the land of milk and honey,
Muttering to himself, "Damned if I'll ever do this again for any amount of money!"
