Siegfried Poems | Examples

Mr Wag

We really rather love our Mr Wag.
A bag of music, music in a bag.
Such masterpieces did he once produce.
We listen every day to Mr Wag.

Oh such a man, a wit was Mr Wag.
Oh what a dish of gifts, oh what a bag.
A Ring he made for us to hear, not wear.
The Nibelungen sent by Mr Wag.

So Rheingold was the first from Mr Wag.
And then we had Walküre in the bag.
The Ring then brought us Siegfried as the third.
The fourth one's hard to say, dear Mr Wag.

Could cause some difficulty, Mr Wag,
for Götterdämmerung is in this bag
and can be hard, this Götterdämmerung.
You see that “o” and “a” there, Mr Wag?

There's also that name here, oh Mr Wag.
We say as Vahgner, and it's in the bag.
So “Wag”, you see, is “Wagner”, that OK?
For that word's in the bag now, Mr Wag.

Premium MemberA Tribute To Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake

The tale Tchaikovsky wove that day
Lives on and on upon a stage
Spun by pirouettes ...and plie's
An epic story of love conveyed
Through the beauty of ballet

Prince Siegfried and his Queen Odette
Who gave their lives without regret
To live forever bound together
As beautiful birds of a feather

As two swans upon a lake

pronounced Plee ay

A Train Journey

The merrily loaded luggage
Adults in a hurry to find their seats
children walking as the train moves,
Expecting a wave in reply like" SCHWAMM's son "
                                                                            .
One eating a packet of "LAYS"
The other shouting at the not Hot tea.

An old man with RUDRAKSHA
among the chit-chat kids.
Many drooping over another in a
dreamy, sleepy state.

Many stations moving on & off
New people trying to find their seats
Many with ear plugs in
Rest watching out from in
with sweaters &mufflers on
munching snacks & breaking their fast

children shouting at the passing by trains
many waking up after a while, stretching arms
many little ones often moving from their seats.
one rushing for recess, the other follows..........
