Here We Are

(( “Most of the enemies you have now
are people you once helped in life.'' ))

Here we are!
The times are no longer the times ..
The places are no longer the places ..
And everything is not anymore the same ..

We offered them our trust;
They brandished their deception.
We helped them;
They let us down.
We built ships to them ..
In them they napped
And further sneered at ..
They burned them afterward.

And the promises;
The good promises,
That we kept nurturing ..
They caused to wither
And fade out ..

Here we are!
And now should be now ..
Not later or maybe or it depends ..
Time has now come to fix it up.

The Lion and the Jewel

Story that I have read,
Some outhor do me mad,
I see them were bad.

The lion and the jewel,
Book I have undersood well,
Today I want to tell.

Sidi get idea of bale,
Teacher whose gender was male,
His name known as Lakunle.

He likes to enjoy couple,
His ideas were not acceptable,
He becamed mad of Ilunjinle.

Baroka was one of male,
Who was jealous to female,
He breaks up Ilunjinle rule.

Sidi was wrestling in middle,
She makes Baroka in riddle,
Baroka seduce with new bottle.

Walking Down the Difficult Road

Down the difficult road,

they harkened to

go before me.

They were sick and tired

of being dragged down here

And the desert and the palm trees

were calling ..

The night was so dark

But they heard of no fear ..

At dawn,

taken by heat and thirst,

down the difficult road,

they burst into tears ..

They left the horses in the stable

without a prance or saddle

And set the mules to rumble

so as not to wheedle or muddle

They caused everyone to pandle

Why life is so hard to handle!

Down the difficult road,

they harkened to

go before me.

Toes

Toes

Rain encourages one
To go barefoot or
Perhaps slippers or
Fancy shoes.

But when you see
Toes exposed as they be
Twinkling trimmed and painted
With rainbow colors set free.

But wait, what about that one
Who just passed.
Nails cut square and with a shine
Freshly done oh so fine.

I looked up to admire
And was surprised to see
Standing there.
Six foot tall with bare legs exposed

Some mother’s son
Where will it end?

Shulamate

I watched Shulamate dance, swirling, whirling
my intoxicated mind fast twirling.
Flame of Setif, Algieria burning
great lust deep within as I was drinking.
Legionnaire of “Sidi Bel Abbes”, bless
“Légion étrangère” with proper clean dress
Second Company, “Rien n'empêche” profess
Regimental sign: “ Nothing Prevents” yes
Music played poor ears with twanging sweet sound
Those beguiling notes making me now sway round,
beating rhythm, gripping me, on soul pound.
.She now made her “pièce de résistance”, and
pulling veil aside, then shows “derrière” bend.
“Vivi France,” “le coup de grâce”, my end.

Ballad of Arianrhod

Mistress of poets dwells in Caer Sidi
the Lady of the Silver Wheel
she shines her light on Earth to light our way
Great Mother, she knows how we feel.

Her light reflects her glory on the seas
and stars kiss dark waters of night.
Arianrhod, our Lady of the Wheel
shine on us with heavenly light.

As the circle turns the wheel goes around
O Mother of the Celtic flame
your bards shall sing your praises through out time
as it was is now the same.
