Demons stand against the sidewalls of my brain
Tossing red hot peppers into my dendrite makers
Shaking their truth, wiggling their tongues
Yet saying nothing
My mind is warm today
Not hot yet
Not hot thank God
My mind is warm
The dragon is asleep at the base of my spine
Slumbering quietly, not ready to come fully awake
The demons know there will be hell to pay when she does.
She is a she dragon of course, a he dragon is never fierce enough.
My mind is warm today
Not hot yet
Not hot thank God
My mind is warm
The demons are laughing now
They have gotten the best of me
They have taken my energy, and pulled giant tricks.
The dragon is in danger of waking.
My mind is warm today
Not hot yet
Not hot thank God
My mind is warm
I take a few pills to keep the dragon at bay
But it is six o’clock, and I am hungry.
When I get hungry I get mean and mad and cranky.
Dragon comes out full force devouring everybody
My mind is haywire.
Hot! Hot! Hot!
Stay away! You are the last friend I’ve got!
The dragon is here. Take cover. Dive!
I am fully awake, and she is alive!

Sublime Solutions
Squalid screams, shingly shores
Slushy sullen spells
Skies spewed sour solitude
Supportive sidewalls sank
Scrimmages sans solutions
Sea splashed sorrowful songs
Searching sauveness sauntered soul
Sought soothing Supreme’s shower
Scarlet smog swiftly swept
Shimmery sequel sparged!

You're probably wondering about the title
So explaining the meaning is vital
It's coz so many smarts
Can burst us apart
So the extra smarts are stored in our sidewalls
